Obviously the Heat were looking for a wing // now a true gamer in Vet sounds like a landing place.
Good for both parties

Getting bought out by your hometown should hurt

It makes too much sense. It's a match made in Heaven. The 03-04 team is still one of my favorite Heat teams ever.

Is he black, a pedophile, or a thug? Can the heat sign him?

Got a lot of respect for Buttlicker after the video you posted recently, but he had to go. Not because I hate him or anything, but he deserves better.
Dude's entering the end of his career, he should have known he had no long term future with a rebuilding team like Milwaukee, even if we're in his home state.

any chance he goes back to the Clippers? Butler or Granger could really help them and make them legitimate contenders.

Don't think Clippers can reacquire Butler for one year

True. Now he needs to sign with a contender. It's his last chance at winning a ring. I guess buying out Butler was the best thing for both sides.

Why would any contender want this guy?
He was the tank commander for the Bucks.

Well he was injured

It's easy to forget because he played less than 30 games that year and never saw a minute of playoff action.
It sucked to have Butler hurt, but I actually think his injury helped the Mavericks immensely.
A healthy Caron may have resulted in no title for the Mavs that year.

Is he good? Can Miami get him?
In all seriousness, stacked just becoming more stacked

Why did Clippers trade him again if he's so good and adding to a stacked team?4

I wanted the Suns to keep him, but I thought it was only right he returned to his hometown, but now he gets brought out :biggums:
So are the Heat officially signing him? Why doesn't any of these players consider OKC? Or is OKC not reaching out to them? I think Butler would actually be serviceable to a championship team, would hate for Miami to get him.

Butler was drafted by the Heat, has announced his love for Heat many times, and Wade is his sons godfather (and his neighbor in chicago I think). He's near the end of his career and I couldn't think of a better way to go out than winning a ring with the organization that drafted you while having a very good friend as a teammate.
All signs point to the Heat. Not saying OKC would be a bad team to play for, but consider all the above, then factor in Miami being 100x better to live in than oklahoma.
