View Full Version : Klapper: Kobe should sit out Season or have career threatening injury like Roy/Oden

Dr. Klapper
Kobe Bryant's microscopic fracture is not healed yet, the swelling on the joint shuts down the quad muscles and your balance feels unstable, this is the same knee problems that Andrew Bynum has.
Now with persistent swelling in Kobe's left knee, forget about his achiles tendon that's no longer his problem, we have to protect his right knee - the one with bone on bone behind his knee caps. If he comes back right now and struggles with pain on the left side, he's going to light up his right knee again, and that's going to be terrible for any future play next season.
Could he go to Germany again? He probably has to go to Germany again, but he'll probably do it after the season is over. I really worry about his other knee getting lit up.
Can he return this season? No. There's nobody like Kobe Bryant, he is going to comeback and defy logic with whatever Gary Vitti can come up with, he is going to play next season, but he cannot absolutely return this season if he's having these persistent symptoms. It could be a career threatening situation if he comes back now with pain and swelling in his left knee then lights up his right knee, now we're talking about Brandon Roy, or Greg Oden trying to play through it.
Recommendation: I'm in total agreement with Magic Johnson that Kobe should ust sit out the rest of this season.

Wow. I guess it's time for Kobe to hang it up.

WTF is going on in Germany that is prolonging careers, and could help in ANYWAY w/ a 35 year who has a bad right knee with bone on bone, a bad left knee now, while recovering from achilles tear?

Platelet-rich plasma treatment AKA Orthokine.
But in layman's terms it's known as blood doping.

Don't know if it's technically illegal, but the FDA has not approved the procedure. WADA (World Anti Doping Agency) had it on its list of banned procedures/substances but reneged on that classification.
Fun trivia- clean athlete Alex Rodriguez was put on to the procedure by fellow clean athlete Kobe Bryant:
NEW YORK -- Following a tip from basketball star Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez traveled to Germany this month for experimental treatments on his troublesome right knee and left shoulder, the Yankees confirmed on Wednesday.

It's common knowledge that americans are years behind in medicine.
And it's probably illegal because of that, as anything that americans don't understand is held as an enemy. Various middle-east countries agree on that.

You mean like the people who are constantly at war over stupid ideologies, beliefs, and agendas?
The same people who strap bombs to themselves, blow up buses, train stations, embassys, and fly aircraft into buildings?
Make their beautiful exotic women be covered head to toe, with the only thing being visible is eyes. Viewed as subserviant to men?
Oh yea, they're totally sane. No emeny to be had there. It's just a misunderstanding, misinformation being spread to Americans.

Yes, a different idealogy, as I've mentioned before - a thing, that americans don't understand. That totally means americans can invade their countries and kill hundreds of thousands innocent people, women and children included, as a result. Nice work, officer.

I'm sure they happen to protect people too everyone in awhile. Clearly people in that region need policing. Protection from themselves, and their own psychotic agendas like "No my religion is the correct one." "This is what god wants." Different ideology doesn't mean people need to die over it. What's with the vicious anti-American sentiments doe? Did someone in your Lithuanian village get killed by American War Machine?

I think the whole world suffers from America's quest for oil.
Tell me, Ukraine is having some of the worst stuff in a while, bear in mind that they don't have any oil, and CLEARLY need policing, not like middle-east countries, which never asked for America to interfere. Why doesn't USA send a little army to Ukraine? I mean, it would stop most, if not all violent protests. OH right, there's no real opportunities to make some money off of resources that they don't have any democratic allowance to take, but they still do in middle-east.
Your brains are washed mate, you still believe that sandnikkas with knives took over 4 planes. Take this to the off-topic section if you want, this is a thread about the greatest player since MJ.

The moral highchair card is played by the foolish and ignorant. American wants to stay as a superpower and its willing to do whatever it takes even if it means taking down democratic free countries such as 50s Iran, Banana Republics, etc etc while supporting/creating the most heinous societies e.g. Saudi Arabia, African warlords, Mujahideen etc. Every strong country over time has done the same and brainwashed their own people the same way you are brainwashed into thinking that they are morally and ethically superior e.g. Romans, Chinese, Persians, Greeks, Ottomans, Germans and the list goes on forever.

There is a reason most of the world hates America....it's not just the Middle East. What you say about the Islam is true, but America has done some really bad things in the Middle East and elsewhere. Just a side note- America funded Al-Qaeda. America brought Bin Laden and Saddam into power. Even as recently as 5 months ago was America funding the terrorist Al-Qaeda "rebels" in Syria who notably killed a months old baby and his mother on a train.
In recent years and still to this day American supports 2 dictators in Africa who have started brutal genocides. As long as America can exploit a countries resources America is fine with them...if a country protects its people and resources against American corporations...well then its time to rev up the war propaganda machines in order to build support for coups, wars, drone attacks etc.

Not what he's saying. Dr Robert klapper is one of the biggest kobe stans here in LA. It's true that kobe's career is coming to a close so might as well go down swinging, it's not like he'd be ending his career early if he gets a career ending injury. But yeah, no point coming back this year.

Individual being the key word, and people who lump entire populations into groups are ignorant. What somebody in power does, whatever war Bush started has nothing to do with the rest of the population. Just like a terrorist blowing himself up is a brain wash loser and doesn't represent every single other Arab that ever lived.

Orthokine is perfectly legal here in the states. Not being FDA approved just means no one can advertise it here and say it does anything. People go to Germany because they're rich and the guys there are the ones that created the procedure. All they're doing is taking the blood and separating out the part of it that reduces inflammation. Then they take that concentrated material and they inject it directly where it's needed.
It's like if you had a neighborhood that was ridden with crack heads. You gather up a whole crapload of cops randomly then you just pick out the ones that are really great at taking care of crack heads, then you dump them just in that neighborhood.
It's not some voodoo magic or blood doping where they're artificially increasing the number of blood cells. They're reallocating existing healing factors to where they're needed most. The athlete is actually loosing blood cells in the process.

He chucks and stat pads when the team around him is good enough to carry him while he does it so that he gets all sorts of praise and glory.
When theyre not he either demands trades or milks injuries.
This team is going nowhere and Kobe hits the eject button everytime that happens. He did it with his fake achilles nonsense and hes doing it with the knee issue. Hes embarrassed to go out and suck, which he does now, on a team full of newbs and scrubs. There is no glory out there for him anymore so hes not gonna play. Even tho the team paid him a ton of money to do it and fans wanna see him.
Kobe, once again, shits on his own fans as always and they swallow it and say thank you.

It's called blood spinning. Blood doping is something else. Get informed.
As in putting it in a centrifuge?
Blood doping is a method to increase the number of red blood cells and hemoglobin in the blood. It is used (illegally) by athletes to increase their aerobic capacity.
Any properly typed red blood cells may be used for blood doping, but in most cases, the athlete's own blood is used. The patient donates a pint of blood, which is then put through a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the rest of the plasma. After the patient's red blood cell level has recovered normally, the separated red blood cells are re-injected into the patient.
http://house.wikia.com/wiki/Blood_doping
Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy is done in an exam room and takes less than an hour. The patient's blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge for 15 minutes to separate out the platelets. The platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the damaged portion of the tendon or cartilage with the guidance of an ultrasound machine.
https://www.emoryhealthcare.org/sports-medicine/procedures/advanced-techniques/prp-therapy.html
So in both instances, blood is drawn from a patient, put into a centrifuge (or 'spinning' as you called it) and then re-injected into the patient. This process boosts an athlete's performance/vastly accelerates the healing process.
So again... what's the difference? :confusedshrug:

Blood doping they seperate and inject back the red blood cells after your own blood cells get back at normal level. It's gives an instant aerobic effect making it possible to obtain more oxygen which is why it's been so popular for cyclist, you can use it for seperate stages where you want to do better.
Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy they seperate the plasma and inject that into the body parts that needs strenthening. It helps the body parts get stronger while healing, but only where you inject it.

Who would burn a pic of Jesus? If we're discussing the Muslim middleeasterns, I assure you you're mistaken. He's revered just as highly as Mohammed. I have a bunch of Muslim friends and there is no way any of them would desecrate Jesus.
Interesting point: Muslims (like Catholics) believe in the immaculate conception of Jesus when we (non Catholics) don't.
I'd suggest watching a little less fox news mate. It's not all dire there.
