View Full Version : Is it gay to have a BFF?

So anyways I have a friend/co worker asked me if he can be my BFF. I was taken back by this because I didn't know what BFF meant. It means BEST FRIENDS FOREVER. Seeing as he was a straight guy with a wife and kids and all, I told him it would be ok AS LONG AS HE DOESN'T MENTION IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. Sure enough, the next person we saw, he was all like, "This is *my name* and we're BFFs!" The guy gave a chuckle and as he was walking away, he was muttering something like, "What a bunch of homos."
Is it really that weird to have a BFF? I don't know, I usually don't give a flying f*ck about how I should act to appease others so I thought it would be ok to be BFFs with this guy, but at the same time, I don't want people to think I'm a faggggot for obvious reasons.
Yes it is...it's not gay to have a bestie though.

What's the difference?
It's ok to have a best friend, it's weird he calls you his BFF. That's a term young girls use. :lol But if he's not trying to **** you then its not gay.

what the ****? :biggums:
he asked if you would be his BFF as if he was asking you out?
I always found it a little weird if guys referred to other guys as their best friend (to me its more of a female thing), but this takes it 2 steps further

It's not gay if you have a bff, most girls and guys do but a guy calling somebody their bff is kind of suspect.
No guy calls someone their bff, they just are.
Every guy might have a closest friend that theyll call their brother or BEST FRIEND but BFF---come on,no
And a guy ASKING another guy to be their BFF is suspect to say the least.
Either that guy is joking and messing around or maybe he wants you to accompany him to restrooms and ask you how he looks in clothes and all in which case he is gay.

This question wouldn't have been hard to answer if you responded with the appropriate question to his question: "Only if you suck my dick."

So essentially, you are questioning if you are in a homosexual relationship with a man. If you have to ask, then the answer is yes, yes you are gay.

As said, there's nothing wrong with having a best friend. Aka a friend who you hang out with and talk to more than your other guy friends.
But specifically calling it a "BFF" is ridiculous.
I don't think I've ever seen that term used seriously. It is usually only used as a joke. I'm sure the only people who use it seriously are in like 3rd grade.

Is this guy foreign? Like maybe he doesnt understand customs so its understandable if he heard the phrase and got mixed up. If not, dude wants your D. I would wear two belts at work just in case.

nothing wrong with having a "BFF". But when you put a label on it and says it in front of people, then it's gay as f)ck for guys.
But when girls do it, I get rock hard thinking about the epic 3somes some lucky dude gets to have with them.

That's just plain weird that some guy asked you to be his BFF. I've known my friends for well over a decade and if one of them asked me to be their BFF I'd respond with my own version of this.:biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums: :biggums:
