90% of those teams u listed were built thru drafts and smart trades....not very similar to the Heat.

Who cares bro? It still doesn't change the fact that the Heat are stacked.

ISH is crazy! You put the Heat up against any old school team and people would say they would lose but "they're so stacked though":facepalm

And dude above me is right. Miami is probably the first team in history to have stars collude

That is an odd ass list. It could have been longer but 5 teams you actually did pick belong nowhere near it. The 94 Rockets? **** outta here.

The 83 76ers should be there. several laker teams though none of the Shaq/Kobe ones. Well they had far better #2s but worse 3-10.

The Badboy pistons at one point had Isiah, Dumars, Rodman, Laimbeer, Dantley, and Microwave with an all time great coach. 4 hall of famers an all star and a great 6th man all in or near their primes(Dantley 31, Dumars 24-25, Rodman and Isiah both 26, Laimbeer 30, Microwave 31).

The Blazers once had 4 guys either all stars at the time or recently, Kersey doing like 17/8, and had soon to be all stars Cliff Robinson and Drazen Petrovic glued to the bench.

And that team might well lose to the Blazers that had Scottie, Sabonis, Damon, Steve Smith, Grant, Rasheed, and Detlef with Bonzi and Jermaine Oneal stuck on the bench.

Lot of teams were more stacked than the Heat. Just not many you listed.

The only one more stacked imo is the 85 Lakers with Kareem, Magic, Wilkes, Mcadoo, Worthy and those 60's Russell Celtics.

How he came up with some of those I do not know.

'03 Spurs? '94 Rockets? These were teams that seemingly had no shot at winning the title at the beginning of their respective seasons :oldlol:

I could go on and on about how wrong you are but the fact that you included in that list the '03 Spurs just made me realize you're not worth it.

Doesn't matter. Get rid of free agency then. The Heat did it fair and square. People call it collusion, but the Heat did a masterful job of building a stacked team. The first year they were top heavy with a terrible bench, and then they started to stack the team with a low budget (Battier, Allen, Cole, Lewis, Birdman). Riley is a God.

The bolded were most certainly not as stacked as the Heat, especially not as compared to the rest of the league. And the '96 Bulls are arguable.

Sometimes, you can have too many guys though. Look at the '83 Celtics for example. It can screw with team chemistry having too many guys as not everyone can play 30+ minutes..

Yeah you're right. Lets punish Pat Riley for being a good GM.

:facepalm

BRB running an organization and Michael Jordan time travels from the 90's and says "Hey man I'll play for the min." and you respond with "no thanks that wouldn't be fair". lmao

MWP scored 20 and Pau had 19. Better question: How many superstars won a knockout game scoring 25% or under on a significant number of shots?

You could even add some non-championship teams:

-1995 Magic
-1996 Sonics
-2002 Kings

Thought I saw someone mention the 2000 Blazers as well. Possibly the most balanced team to not win it all. I remember right before the 2000 playoffs started, I looked at the seeds and actually had Portland going to the Finals. I actually feared them more than the Lakers because of their depth, experience, and good bigs.

The 81 Rockets must have been really stacked, then to beat the 81 Lakers. 83 Sixers were an amazing team. Moses Malone getting no love here.

As for the Badboy Pistons, they got better when they traded Dantley.
