:facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Please stop making these shitty threads. Duncan is a good 10-15 spots above Wade.

The difference between this and the Kobe thread is that Duncan was never carried. He has left a positive impact on the game of basketball. Meanwhile Kobe is the reason why there's so much unwatchable chucking and AAU-tier basketball being played night in and night out.

Nope not at all, even 5 ring Kobe is not better than Duncan on the all-time-great list. 3 rings as alpha >>> 1/2 rings as alpha + N rings as sidekick/role-players.

To be fair, Jordan and Iverson had a lot to do with that stuff as well.

It's funny how whenever a chucker is on a really talented team and the team wins, the chucker gets all the credit.

When the chucker is on a bad team "he needs more help" and the team is failing him.

Dudes here just don't understand what basketball actually is.

A prime duncan would dominate this league, what do you think?

Hell an old crippled Duncan almost handed it to the Heat last season if it wasn't for a horrible performance by Ginobli

Wade would have never sniffed a second or third ring without a superior player joining his team. No teaming up with the best player in the league + (at the time) a top 10 player = no multiple championships.

Wade is nowhere close to Kobe or Duncan on the All Time list. Anyone with half a brain knows that.

Then again, I'm on ISH. Can't expect everyone around here to have even basic brain functionality :facepalm

I don't think surpasses Duncan. U gotta think Duncan is one the 7-10 GOAT. But another ring will put Wade in the top 15- 20 GOAT for sure in my book. And many have D-Wade at #3 or #4 GOAT at the SG spot with MJ, Kobe, and West. For those shitting on Wade need to be ashamed of themselves. No he doesn't pass Timmy GOAT wise with another ring. But YES D-Wade is still an immortal kind of player. His resume and peak value speaks for himself:

MJ
Kobe
Bron
West
Hondo
Wade

He's among six perimeter players with legendary careers that can say FOR SURE they are great scorers, great passers, great defenders, and great rebounders (for perimeter players) all in one. Others guys u can argue, but these six stand out among the pack in that regard.

Duncan is better than Wade right ****ing now, and this is probably his last season. D-Wade can win every ring from now to the end of his career and he won't ever even be in the same ballpark as Duncan.

The same could be said for Duncan. No TP + no Manu = only 2 rings or for Kobe (no Shaq or Gasol = 0 rings). SMH @ idiots who think rings are an individual accomplishment.

Aren't you the idiot who said that Dirk would retire ringless? Wade has been better than Duncan for a while now. You need to deal with it.

He doesnt have any case for the whole year.. in the Finals I'd say they were about even.

Yeah you are right, I forgot that TD still outperformed Parker except in that nba finals series due to match-up. Thanks for pointing out.

21/5/5/2/1 on 52% for the season. Was one of the main reasons why Miami went on that ridiculous 27 game winning stretch. Had a 41 game stretch during which he averaged 23/6/5/2/1 on 53%. Another 28 game stretch (some of the games overlap) during which he averaged 24/6/6/2/1 on 54%. Was super clutch defensively and offensively. He scored almost 6 points on 51% along with 2 rebounds and 1 assist in the 4th quarters.
