With this and Marc Gasol finally healthy, I'm afraid the Suns will find themselves out of the playoffs by season's end.

West is so deep Im not sure Mavs recent form is enough for them to maintain a playoff qualification push, especially with Nowitzkis age and lack of help.

I really thought they were gonna make a move for someone like Sanders or Asik...

Nowitzkis age makes you doubt their playoff chances? He is is having the most efficient scoring season of his career, what else is he supposed to do? There's a lot wrong with the way the Mavs are constructed as a team, but Dirk is still one of the premier scorers in the game.

I feel like the suns are going to drop out of a playoffs place

Even though the Mavs beat somewhat weak competition throughout this stretch, I think they made the transition from a average team to a good team. Their defense and rebounding has improved big time since the start of the year... and that is their two biggest flaws.

They got a very hard 8 game stretch starting tonight vs Chicago. I think this is the make or break for them. If they go over .500, or atleast .500, I think they make the playoffs for sure.

yeah February was great. Unfortunately here is March schedule:

Spurs
Denver
Portland @H
Pacers @H
Warriors
Jazz
Oklahoma

Boston @H
Wolves @H
Denver @H
Nets @H
Clippers @H
Kings @H

If they survive the first 7 games as the 7th or 8th seed, they'll make it to the playoffs. Playing the last 6 games in Dallas is gonna help too.

Yea, it's brutal...

It's like every game is a playoff game. Hopefully the Mavs can manage to beat some good teams.

It's fun to watch a playoff push as a fan, but I was hoping we would make a move at the deadline to improve our team for next year. It's going to really suck if we miss the playoffs and we sat on Marion's expiring contract for truly nothing.
