No that would be Melo, Thard is a streaky shooter and probably the worst defender on the team. Which is sad considering how bad Amare and Felton are.

Melo's play has been a bright spot but the team is going nowhere and he might bolt (I wouldnt hold it against him if he did either). If he does bolt there is no player on this current roster that I'd want to stay for the rebuilding process except for Hardaway.

Hardaway has been erratic but he's shown flashes of being a pretty good player. Had a horrible game against the Heat but he's had some great games this season.

Long, athletic wing w/ a smooth jumper. Dynamic on the fast break. You're right, his defense is atrocious but he's a rook. Its easier to improve defensively than vice versa. Kid also has a good head on his shoulders.

I like Hardaway and I agree, if Melo left I'd get rid of every single player on the roster but him. But I don't think he'll ever be more than a solid starter, he doesn't provide anything other than scoring, and even there he's nothing spectacular. Honestly his ceiling is probably being a good 6th man.

Melo has really won me over with his tough play as of late. He could have gave up after the first quarter tonight but he was still playing hard the whole game, going for loose balls, fighting for rebounds. He has really been giving it 100% this year. You put him with a great supporting cast like Chicago or Indy and he could win a championship.
