Is he close to 100%? If not, how long do you guys think it'll take him to get there?

He missed a transition poster he normally would have gotten, but other than that looked normal.

He's playing back like he did before his third surgery. Like the best PG in the league, capable of being elite at basically every aspect of basketball.

got really nice lift on his jump shot tonight, and the box score shows it. he looked better on the pull up jumper. last few games he was still leaning forward some. tonight he was stopping on a dime and rising straight up.

when he posted up calathes, went middle, and rose for the shot, it was the closest he has looked to 100%. just made it look easy and got up quick.

he also battled hard against big guys on defensive switches.

easily his best game since being back - looked extremely in control of the offense, and when everything was going to shit, he worked the pick and roll with kd better than he ever has.

i said it in the game thread, but take special note of goatbrook's distribution to kd coming off of picks - in the past he has been a bit late with the pass, and kd has gotten to the spot and then had to fight his guy off. tonight he was leading kd in stride and in time. russell just looks like he is more in control and has a better feel for where guys will be on offense.

quite honestly, westbrook looks like a better all-around basketball player than ever before. he looks ready to go hard at that #3 player in the league spot. i think he will again be putting up regular 21/8/6 regular stat lines very soon.

he is my favorite player, but as we know the main story is only half on the court - until we get to this offseason, everyone okc/westbrook fan is still holding their breath and praying not to wake up and see the "westbrook out 6 weeks after knee scope" headline, regardless of how good he looks.

How come Westbrooks athleticism is easier to notice than Rose?

He's more active than Rose was.

More active in passing lanes, more active in on ball defense, more active on the glass, etc, which overall leads to a lot more splash plays making his athleticism easier to notice.

I agree, Rose is better at finishing at the rim/in contact though. Hard to remember Rose playing to be honest :lol

To those who don't say Westbrook is the best PG in the game, I seriously question how often they have ever played basketball.

The energy/activity the guy plays with in all aspects of the game is insane. Mike Conley shot like 1/10 tonight with Westbrook guarding him. Russ is consistently locking down other players on offense, and then is getting up to outrebound the other teams bigs, and then is starting the fastbreak all by himself and getting down the floor before everyone else to score the basket to hustle back and play tencaious defense again.

I'd love to see some of these armchair criticizers go out there and play with half of his effort. Westbrook is Derrick Rose except an elite rebounder and defender for his position, plus a much better leader IMO.

goatbrook is likely to get all-nba votes based on the GOAT bench performance against the sixers alone.

westbrook's bench performance that game > rose's last 3 seasons

Looked great athletically his defense is still complete sht. Most overrated defender in NBA. OKC were playing like one of best defensive teams since he came back. Gambles, misses rotations, doesnt run back, dumb fouls:facepalm :facepalm

This is true. I gotta rep my boy Curry but Westbrook has a FREAK motor. I mean top 3 of the last decade motor.
