Can be anything really, video/photo/article, whatever.
Ok let me go first, I admit I'm rather vulnerable to shit that you guys probably watch regularly. Movies like saw/hostel make me quite lightheaded and I can;t really watch through the whole thing. Well anyway I came across this movie a while back, It's german iirc, Salo, or translated as the 120 days of sodom.
For those strong hearted...check it out.
Im freaked out lol.
edit, its Italian

no, but they didn't and i think they slowed down when they got near me and just sped up
i didn't want to get out my house for days after that, the people who got shot survived so those guys are probably in jail right now, but i'm still paranoid till this day when i'm near that area

When my youngest was born my wife started bleeding out and went into cardiac distress just as the little one was coming out... wasn't anything wrong with her heart other than not enough blood to pump
one minute they're cutting the chord and everyone's all smiles and the next minutes it looks like a horror movie, blood all over the floor by the bucket loads... went from one doctor and a nurse in the room to 3 doctors and several nurses in a nano second... all talking over each other, one nurse handed me my little girl and pushed me out of the way... just stood off to the side holding my baby going no no no not like this.. they got her fixed up stopped the bleeding got her heart stabilized and an hour later she was feeding our girl.. tired and beat but not beaten...
one of the nurses stopped by to check on her later and said I did good, i said "me? i didn't do anything" she said 7 out 10 fathers would have been out cold or dropped the baby...lol
i got home that night and had a mini nervous breakdown...haha

Not ER, but I am a surgical resident at a level one trauma hospital in a fairly low socioeconomic area of new york. Keep in mind I dont see completely mangled bodies, because they only bring in people that have a chance at survival. Ive seen terrible things in the 4 years Ive worked here but the top three are as follows.
1) This one story isnt really that gross but to put yourself in her place is what really messed me up. One elderly obese lady was sitting on the toilet and when she stood up she slipped and fell. She ended up wedging herself between the toilet and the radiator. This is in the dead of winter and she lives by herself, so the radiator was going full blast. Long story short is that the radiator was so hot that it would slowly cause her flesh to essentially necrose and melt off. She stayed like that for 3 DAYS until her son came and found her. She came to the hospital with a cantelope sized crater of burned flesh that went from her upper breast, shoulders and cheek of her face. I didnt think she was even alive when they brought her in, thats how messed up she looked. Later down the road when I talked to her she would tell me that she would hear the radiator making those knocking sounds and she would scream and scream knowing in only minutes her flesh would melt again.
2) We get a lot of nursing home patients and one of the problems with patients that lie in bed all day is that they develop pressure sores, which is when youre blood gets cut off to a certain area because you are constantly on that area. So one day we get this patient that has unexplained fevers most likely due to her pressure sore. We turn her on her side and and we see this massive pressure sore on her back side over her coccyx. It looked like just a black and blue circle around the size of a grapefruit. I touch it and it gives way to reveal an massive amount of infected tissue that smelled terrible. My colleague pokes at the tissue and it just gives way and a gush of pus hits the bed. Literally 2 nurses start retching from the smell, we just scoop away that dead tissue to the point where you can fit your whole fist in that area. When we are almost done we noticed the bottom of the wound is this really weird blue color that you dont really ever see in the human body. After much speculation we just dress the wound and turn the patient over. Then we realize that the blue we were looking at was the pus colored blue hospital covers that the patient was on, and that this pressure sore was so extensive it went from this ladies back and created a tract that came out her labia majora. The blue we were looking at was the end of the tract. So disturbing on so many levels.
3) We get tons of gun violence and Ive seen peoples intestines hanging out, limbs hanging by a thread after getting shot with a shot gun, and people that have been shot over 20 times. The most disturbing thing Ive ever seen was someone who was shot 3 times in the head. The bullets literally missed the brain but 2 of them were lodged behind his eyes. While we were intubating him, apparently the pressure built up so much behind his eyes that both his eyeballs literally popped out of his skull. My med student fainted, I was so taken aback, and all the chaos in the room stopped to look at these eyes just dangling out of his head.
These were the 3 most disturbing things for me personally. Ive cracked enough chests to do cardiac massage or cross clamp the aorta, but thats not gruesome to me just another way to save a life. Also Ive seen a lot miscarriages/stillbirths that required surgical intervention, and so many maggots (even in someones throat) but for some reason that stuff doesnt bother me. Im sure what I do on a daily basis is disgusting for you, but I love it. Trauma Surgeons Rule!!!

I also saw a video of a terrorist group cutting a guys head off with a machete. The worst thing about that was the sound. The guy goes from screaming to gurgling to sounding like a squealing pig. Probably the worst thing I've ever seen/heard.

When we were about 15, me and a bunch of my friends went into town late at night (like 2 AM or so) and a car pulled up infront of us and a bunch of guys tried to rob us with fake guns. That shit haunted me for ages :oldlol:
Also, Salo is definitely the most traumatic film I've ever seen. Films like The Human Centipede do nothing to me, but Salo is the ultimate dismissal of our civilisation.

Saw a guy get cut up with a machete. 2 women get into a knife fight. Was caught in the middle of a stand off with a guy pointing an AK-47 in my direction while I was pinned down in a small store. Been up close and even taken part in slaughtering farm animals (chickens, cows, sheep, goat) too many times to count.
But the most ****ed up thing was seeing a guy get into an argument with his pregnant girlfriend, throw her to the ground and then proceed to kick her violently in the stomach. All that other shit didn't really faze much, but that one always bothered me.

C'mon man. The film has a lot to say about European fascism, the dream of sexual liberation, how capitalism/fascism are not too far apart from each other, the sadistic power of those "above."
Have you seen any other films by Pasolini (the director)? We're not talking about Human Centipedes or I Spit on Your Graves here; we're talking about a serious artist who made some of the most beautiful and apparently atrocious films in cinema history. This is the same guy who made The Gospel According to St. Matthew.

When I was 14 I came out of a restaurant with my family at the time and saw various Police cars, ambulances and fire engines about 400 meters down the road. We all walked down and quickly found out that someone had been involved in a car accident. A driver had lost control and rolled the car. I vividly remember watching the fire service cut open the car roof to reveal and body inside. It was a middle aged woman. Hard to recognize because of how severe the accident was. They pulled her out of the car and onto the grass nearby. The paramedics were carrying out a procedure, I guess pronouncing death or something. We left after it was apparent that it was a fatality.
13 years later I still remember it like it was yesterday. Quite harrowing and it really puts into perspective just how great a job the emergency services do.

Luckily I'm not the squeamish type... Bouncing around race tracks, race shops and Motocross tracks my entire adult life.. You see some stuff now and again...
I think the only time I ever was bothered was when we had a wreck on the start at Laguna Seca two front rows collected each other, all four our cars spread everywhere.. Whole front straight was blocked right past start finish.
I hopped out to check on my teammate ran over there and he was still driving the car...lol Knocked out stupid, eyes rolled back in his head, no front wheels no body work from the cockpit forward but there he was, hands holding on to an imaginary steering wheel driving that racecar... creepy

There is a move called "A Serbian Film". It has been banned by 20 or so different countries and a lot of scenes edited for the USA. I think this will keep anyone awake for a few weeks wondering what the f@#k is wrong with the guy who made that film http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Serbian_Film
:biggums: :biggums: :biggums:
WTF? Just... WTF? :biggums: I don't want to watch that. Fvck man, if I ever meet someone and they tell me they're Serbian imma GTFO

Thanks, not trying to be the PC police cause the topic basically calls for pics/links like that but it is still a bit shocking to see such content without it being hidden behind a link with a description :oldlol:

Last fall - there was a crew of construction workers fixing a water main directly in front of my house and one of them somehow had gotten submerged/flattened underneath a massive dozer. This literally happened right at the tip of my driveway.
At one point I took a gander out one of my windows to see if the hoopla had dispersed (media/load of cops etc) and just as I did, one of his colleagues was reversing the dozer to free the remains. It was one of those moments where I knew full well that what I was about to see was surely going to be grotesque and totally f*uck with my head for the next few days but I just couldn't pull away. Nevertheless, what was revealed was nothing like I had ever seen. Everything from this poor guys head to his waistline was just pancaked and splattered into the asphalt.
Gross sh*it man...
A mortar shell sitting in a pool of blood.
I was deployed to Iraq and it was the first major mortar attack the FOB I was at had suffered in a few months.
I saw the three worst injuries from that attack as well. One guy had his entire face blown off, another was missing a hand and a third was missing part of his torso. Like, if a shark got a hold of him and took a bite out of him.
Luckily Special Forces pilots choppered them very quickly to the closest military hospital and only one of them died (the guy who lost his face).
Needless to say that mortar shell still haunts me to this day (and that attack is one of the reasons I deal with PTSD).
