Anyways, the hipster trend killed everything. Now women think they can mix and match anything they want and they are striving for equality and individualism. You won't see them rocking skirts unless it is at a club. Women don't want to get put into that girly girl stereotype anymore.

When I was in high school, the trend was short skirts and short shorts. Our dress code at school, was for the girls to have at least 4 inches from the crotch down which was a travesty. Luckily, for me nobody enforced it.

I miss short shorts and heels.

I literally had that conversation with someone last week. Well, about 'dresses' actually. Something like Biblical robe/dress things similar to an abaya, and monk robes would be so comfortable. Why don't we wear them?

I don't know that today's kids know the feeling of attending class and waiting for that one girl in the class to show up, just to see what she is wearing. Back in the days, there were a bunch of them in class that would wear something very revealing. Today, girls don't give a crap because hipster look is cool. Throw anything on and call it a day.

idk i think yoga pants have taken over the skirts category it seems. definately a weak era for skirts. much more skirts in the early to mid 2000s. My college is mainly shorts, jeans and yoga pants and dresses of all kind, but definately not many skirts.

Bruh-what Im saying is, when I was 12-13-14, skirts had more an effect on me then they do now for example. Like back then I could see a hot chick in a short skirt and pop a huge boner even if all they doing was walking infront of me. That shit doesn't happen to me anymore.

That was a time in my life for me where short skirts on a hot chick was like the holy grail.

It was also a time when, in LA atleast, short skirts seemed to be the fashion.
