Guys, he can't sign with a playoff team. He was cut a day too late.
Keep up.

Yeah, a pretty pointless transacction since he can't play in the playoffs. Apparently OKC was really interested (and there was mutual interest from what I was hearing/reading the last few days) but now it doesn't even matter.

Doesn't matter because he can only be used for the regular season. So he has no value for a playoff bound team.

Should sign with the Lakers. Seems like everyone on their team other than Nash, Gasol, and Marshall are chuckers. He would fit well.

Couldn't he be useful for Miami's "maintenance program"? I'm guessing it expires at the end of the season anyways...

Gordon was waived to where playoff teams cannot sign him. So he either has to sign with a non-playoff team or wait until next summer...

because he can't be in the playoffs if he signs with a contender and just finishes out the regular season for them could he just sit with the team in a suit for the postseason/would he get a ring?

Memphis is probably not making the playoffs anyways so he could sign with them. Even Jimmer didn't want to play there.

can you read? he clearly wrote "maintenance program" which means helping miami keep their players fresh for the playoffs.
