NYC is the greatest city in the world. I have lived in in NYC, melbourne and Aarhus for more than a year at least in each city. i have also lived for a month or two in portland, la, San antonio and seattle. NYC is still the best and there was not even any competition in the 90s for it being the best. 90s nyc is the GOAT city.

Knicks made the playoffs 6 times in the last 15 years. What about the Wolves? 5 times. NY Knicks also made the NBA finals 15 years ago. Something the Wolves have never done

No such thing as best city. Incredibly subjective rankings. I hate NYC and have lived in Cleveland, NYC, Denver, LA, and Florence (Italy)
