Does Wilt have a chance to join this list?

How did he only win 2 rings playing in the most watered down era in NBA history?

Wilt is the most overrated player of all-time. He should be written out of NBA history.

How do you win only 1 ring with Jerry West?

Brb West averages 38 ppg in the '69 Finals, Wilt averages 12 ppg and they lose LMAO at his choking.

I don't even weigh rings as heavily most, but I don't how he gets so many passes. He played on talented teams, set a bunch of records, etc. His stans are excuse machines though. When you are bigger, stronger, faster, etc than everyone in the league and have HOF teammates like West. Finishing your career with only two rings in pathetic.

Brb have HCA and 3-1 series lead over Boston in '68, still loses

Brb have Jerry West and Elgin Baylor on team, loses both times in the Finals with them

Brb choking from pressure

Brb shoot 1-11 from the line in Game 7 ('70 Finals), lose, then blames Jerry West

Wilt was a mental midget when it came to winning. His whole career was basically 2011 Lebron-esque, though he did win 2 and won a Finals MVP at 35 years old.

Brb average 30.1 ppg in the regular season, then average 18.6 ppg in the Finals

Brb getting swept by sub .500 team in the first round in '61

Brb leading team to 31-49 record in '63

Brb leading team to 10-28 record before being shipped out in '65

Brb shoot 51.1% from the line in the regular season, then average 37.6% in the Finals

How does a player make such little impact in winning playoff games?

1968 Lakers without Wilt = make the Finals and lose to Boston
1969 Lakers with Wilt = make the Finals and lose to Boston
1970 Lakers with Wilt = make the Finals and lose to New York

Dat playoff impact

How about his Sixers? How did they do without Wilt in '69?

55-27 record (1st in PPG) and lose to Boston in the playoffs (like they did the year before with Wilt)

Agreed for the most part tbh... but just stop with all the switching characters then act like you forget it due to age

Aaron Carter looking like the typical centers that Wilt faced. Hell he would have been a HOFer if he played in the 60s.

Wilt faced good enough competition. Russell, Reed, Thurmond, Kareem. Also other great players in his era that played different positions - Oscar, West, Baylor, Havlicek, Pettit. It's just that he choked in the playoffs.

Wilt was definitely not made for the playoffs, the man shrunk in the playoffs and his choking in the '69 finals is all time bad.

And when the guy finally won his 2nd ring in '72 he wasn't even the highest ranked player on the MVP list, Jerry West was. And if that wasn't bad enough, Kareem averaged 40 points per game on 50% shooting against Wilt in the regular season and then Wilt got outscored by 23 points PER GAME in the playoffs by Kareem.
