View Full Version : Why is the USA supporting Ukrainian Nazis?

Svoboda, the 'democracy loving peaceful protesters' in Ukraine that American government and media are hyping up are a far-right group of xenophobic and racist Neo-Nazis.
Putin is doing his best to make sure that these racist neo-nazis don't come in to power.
He also prematurely ended a war in Syria before it happened. America and Britain were desperate to send troops to Syria and take it over but Putin ended it peacefully.
Putin has been nominated for a Nobel Prize for Peace and deservedly so. He stopped a war in Syria and now is doing his best to peacefully ensure that a party of American funded Neo-Nazis don't take over Ukraine and send it in to hell. I am glad that brave leaders like Putin exist, who fight to end evil wars and ensure that evil Neo-Nazis dont come in to power.
The Ukraine’s far-right ultra-nationalist political party, Svoboda All-Ukrainian Union, recently received global media attention after one of its officials called Ukrainian-born American film actress Mila Kunis a “dirty Jewess,” sparking outrage in Western Europe, Israel and the U.S.
Ihor Miroshnychenko, the deputy chief of Svoboda, wrote on his Facebook account: “[Kunis] is not Ukrainian, she is a Yid. She is proud of it, so [the] Star of David be with her.”
However, this was only the latest inflammatory incident involving the extreme right-wing party which espouses a virulently xenophobic, anti-Semitic, anti-gay, and anti-Russian agenda.
Another top Svoboda member, Yuriy Mykhalchyshyn, a deputy in parliament, often quotes former German Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels, as well as other Third Reich luminaries like Ernst Roehm and Gregor Strasser.
Tyahnybok has repeatedly sought inspiration from Ukrainian insurgents who fought in World War II.
“They did not fear, but took up their automatic rifles, going into the woods to fight Muscovites, Germans, Jewry and other filth which wanted to take away our Ukrainian nationhood. It’s time to give Ukraine to the Ukrainians. Like them, you are most feared by the Moscow-Jewish mafia which today runs Ukraine,” he said.

Its not trolling. It's true. The team that the USA is supporting to take control of Ukraine are neo-nazis who quote Goebbels.
Why is America supporting the side of racist nazis and why are the American media not reporting the fact that a majority of the 'peaceful protesters' belong to Ukraine's racist nazi party?
IMO It's a good thing Putin stopped USA from going in to Syria and its a good thing now that he's sent in troops to make sure a racist Nazi party doesn't take control of Ukraine.

You are just picking out the most extreme group and pretending thats everyone in ukraine that wants to be independent from russia.
Also you really think its a good thing what assad is doing to his people? And you think it speaks well of putin that he and assad are allied, and he sells weapons to assad?

It is impossible to argue that the USA has been providing billions of dollars in tax payer funding to finance a foreign Nazi party.

Just because the one party is made of fascists it doesn't mean the other side of the spectrum is good. Think Hitler-Stalin.
Putin is no saint. And of course the US supports them, first and foremost, because they have to front against the Russians and second because the democrats are still very much right wing compared to european left wing parties, in most cases even right wing ones.

You wrote "deservedly so". Just seems you're backing up what Putin does. Both sides are black or evil if you want to put it that simplicistic. The deal is that no foreign power wants the best for Ukraine. They follow their own interests. Putin doesn't give a shit about Neo-nazis. His eye is on one of the best economical places within his range and the EU wants the Ukraine to get into theirs. Ukraine needs an independent pluralistic parliament that isn't a puppet of Russia'S ressourcess or the EU's money. Doubt that will ever happen.

You are the one trying to make things simpilistic by labeling sides good and evil.
Nazis are clearly evil. USA has given $5 billion in tax payer dollars to help a foreign nazi party complete a coup.
That is all I am saying.

I never claimed someone's evil or black, that's your wording. Something is complex as the situation in Ukraine is almost impossible to talk about on a basketball forum where alot of the people don't even know where Ukraine is on the globe.

No, Putin doesn't give a shit about neonazis in the Ukraine, he doesn't give a damn about Kiev. He wants the crim and parts of Ukraine east of the Dnieper as it's mostly russians there and alot of ressources. The coup is just an excuse to get there.

No matter what you think his motives and reasoning for doing things are-here are three more indisputable facts.
Putin is against the Nazis taking control of the Ukraine government, and sending in troops to ensure this doesn't happen.
Putin is nominated for the Nobel Prize for Peace.
The USA has given $5 billion to fund a Nazi coup.

This whole ****ing thread is about seeing the world in black and white. It's hilarious to see you throwing out all context and distorting the nature of the opposition in Ukraine to set up your stupid "When did you stop beating your wife?" moral posturing and then claiming you don't view the world in black and white
Using your own argument you are on the side of dictators shooting protestors through the neck. You are on the side of military agressors.
You have such a dumb way of arguing. Do you know how someone gets Nominated for a Noble? (http://nobelpeaceprize.org/en_GB/nomination_committee/who-can-nominate/) It's not by the Noble Committee. Fact.
Some member of the Russian government who wanted to kiss Putin's ass could have nominated him or any history professor. Over 270 people are nominated for the Peace Prize this year. Troll or vanity nominations have been a fact for years, it makes for a good press release. The Noble Committee then vets this big list to come up with the eligible nominees.

10. Mr. Putin says: The Rada is under the influence of extremists or terrorists.
The Facts: The Rada is the most representative institution in Ukraine. Recent legislation has passed with large majorities, including from representatives of eastern Ukraine. Far-right wing ultranationalist groups, some of which were involved in open clashes with security forces during the EuroMaidan protests, are not represented in the Rada. There is no indication that the Ukrainian government would pursue discriminatory policies; on the contrary, they have publicly stated exactly the opposite.
