that's why i laugh at idiots who say he wouldn't dominate any sport. one of the greatest athletes of all time. has a combination of every good trait an athlete should have, all at an elite level.

Lebron would be a better version of Randy Moss in the NFL. 4 inches taller, 40 lbs bigger & a tad bit slower (I believe Moss ran 4.3 40 yd dash, Bran run 4.6), but his physical tools would allow him to break so many tackles & he would be a terrific option in the end zone due to his TE-like size.

dont believe that shit.
LeBron is probably running the 40 yard in 4,4 right now.
with a little speed training he would go 4,2:coleman:

I personally think he'd be a lot more similar to Terrell Owens.

But much better, of course.

Lebron himself claimed to have run 4.6, so I guess I shouldn't believe your idol.

Yeah, you're going to reply with "if Lebron tried hard & worked at it blah blah blah", but I believe he can run about 4.5-4.7ish. Remember, he's a lot heavier than most WRs.

Lebron is slow as hell and can't take a hit, Durant has one of the all time worst bodies for football.

These two would have no chance of succeeding in the NFL

btw a 4.6 40 is slow as hell, NFL players are elite athletes, and tough too, they don't flop round and cry when hit

They would if it gave them yards.

This. The only thing you need to look at to see how tough and durable a player is, is how many games they have missed... flopping is done to gain an advantage for your team, its not indicative of toughness

4.6 is slow

So maybe it takes him a few steps to reach his max speed, or maybe he timed it on a bad day, or whatever. But watch him run up and down the court, the dude is one of the fastest end-to-end players ever in basketball. Take that 4.6 and flush it down the toilet.

agreed, he' fast for a basketball player, but NFL athletes are on a different level

Also, 4.6 is probably generous since it wasn't official, when peope measure their own times they're always "faster"

u are COMPLETELY delusional if you think LeBon couldnt run at least 4,5 if he lost like 5-10 pounds or trained dashes:facepalm :facepalm

He never trained to be a football player. Training for both sports is almost completely different. Don't you think he'd try to decrease his 40 speed, if he trained to be a football player. Don't you think he'd be much quicker, if he trained to be a football player from day 1?

Apparently he ran a 40 in 4.6 and he was just "messing around".

http://tracking.si.com/2013/02/27/heat-james-ran-40-in-4-6-seconds/

Dude is fast and strong, but lets not kid ourselves. He won't be able to play football in the NFL, unless he quits basketball and trains like hell. He would still take probably a whole year to be NFL ready.

1) No it isn't for someone 6'8 270 it's extremely fast
2) LeBron would run faster than a 4.6. Would be closer to 4.50.

You do realize that players train for the 40 right? It's very likely he would run a 4.50.
