15.87 PER vs 14.19 PER of JJ
Congratulations GG, you deserve $22 million!
Seems like a long time ago I wanted the Blazers to draft him over Webster. Glad to see his career has picked up. He has been on my fantasy team for about half of the season because of his numbers.

Really happy to see this kid rise from the ashes, like a Phoenix.

When Joe was his age he was averaging 25 ppg. Joe is in the tail end of his contract and putting up 15 ppg surrounded by all scorers is very good. Can't blame him for the contract when he's about to be done with it in several more years.

Nobody is saying that GG is what peak Joe was. And I certainly don't blame JJ for the contract. That is on the Hawks.
Regardless, this does demonstrate that JJ's contract is terrible, but that isn't really news.

Agree. It's not Joe's fault the Nets are the most stacked team of our lifetime. Even I am a bit upset!

You'd probably would have wanted him off the Blazers anyways after the first couple of seasons.
I picked Green at the end of my draft for shits and giggles. Probably the best move I made all season considering the circumstances.

I picked him up in fantasy earlier this year then dropped him cause all the fantasy analysts said his minutes would drastically decrease. :( He was starting for an injured player. Forgot who. Then I picked up Markieff Morris.

I agree. I remember feeling relieved that we took Webster over him once they started playing. Unfortunately, the real selection we should have went with was CP3.

What does that even mean?
It means that I get if people were still on the "contract boat" when he first signed it. His contract is about to end and people are still not over how undeserving it is. He's averaging 15 PPG at 32 surrounded by scorers yet it's not good enough because of his contract. People should have moved on years ago about that. Yes, it is bad but I'm not paying it so whatever.
