NO AGENDA INTENDED

Alot of them been true fans for a while now, and considering the history between both LA teams felt weird seeing the clippers thrash the lakers, granted the team is different, but still 40+ blowout is pathetic

People in SoCal.. What would you say are the ratios to Laker fans to Clipper fans pre and post Blake?

For every Clippers fan, you have 10 or so that are gonna be Lakers fans. Might be lower this season...given that LAL is practically unwatchable.

Hard to say, seems like 99 to 1 sometimes, but a lot of people in LA aren't "from" LA so there's a lot of haters here, I run into them all the time. Lakers and clippers are supposed to be rivals, but I always thought a lot of Lakers fans would prefer the clippers to be great also rather than be perennially horrible. I remember really rooting for the clippers during the Danny manning era.

Remember how Dwight got booed the first time Rockets played at Clippers?

:lol The greatest, most shameless band wagoner ever. The clips will have to actually win first though.

None of my friends in SoCal are clipper fans. You go to bars and nobody cheers for the clippers. 100 to 1 IMO.

To answer Duke's question I think CP3 summed it up last night after the game

KEVIN DING ‏@KevinDing
Chris Paul said fans were yelling to him: "It's still a Laker town!" CP shrugged and said: "It is. No secret."

Happy for Clipper fans. They deserve this. I know how shitty it feels to root for a shitty franchise..it must be even worse when your shitty franchise is the little brother for arguably the best one.

People started sporting Clipper gear in Blake's rookie season, and I've seen probably the same amount of fans just going out in the city. Still, as has been said, there are still a ton more people wearing Lakers shirts, hats, etc. Shit, I've seen people wearing Smush and Kwame jersey even a year ago. :oldlol:

 Lil' Wayne is the biggest bandwagon fan in the celebrity world. Then again, I don't blame him. All that $$ and you can watch any game court side. Who cares what we think

This is probably got to be an all time low in Lakers' history. 50 point blowout to the Clippers. yikes.

It's cool to see the team successful but nobody's under the illusion LA is anything but Laker town.

Even if they hypothetically go all the way this season the shit talking will go from "We have 16 and you have none" to "We have 16 and you have 1!"
