the days of large scale, international conflict and warfare are over. wars will be fought economically and politically with small scale shows of force.

They were also a sidekick to the Iraq and Afghan Wars. Not to mention we had to save their azzes from the Germans in WWI and again in WWII except we called the Germans Nazis. And who can forget the War of 1812 and the Revolutionary War where we kicked dem damn Redcoats ass.

America 6 Britain 0.

Not really. Sidekick implies a significant contribution. They are the sidekick in WW2. more of a role player in Iraq and afghanistan at best.

Nah, they would of won without us. They were still the star then.

and again in WWII except we called the Germans Nazis.
True

And who can forget the War of 1812
At best for america it was an indecisive war. we arguably lost. Also the british were far more concerned with fighting the napoleonic wars. We fought a token british force and arguably lost. Their best troops were saved to fight napoleon

the Revolutionary War where we kicked dem damn Redcoats ass.

More accurately we weren't important enough to expend the resources to retain. A small fraction of the british empire was used to fight us. The british were more concerned with their other colonies that produced profits for them.

Also they though we would collapse and eventually come back to the fold.

Britain still owns the U.S. in the form of the Federal Reserve.

World War 3 won't last long, as the U.S. has already shown it's willing to target innocent civilians with nuclear warfare.

Well you lost against the New York Knicks of Wars. Vietnam. Old Country, but their only success came in the 70s against a stacked team of the west. Now they're only good for selling textiles.

That is a bit offensive to say about one of your best allies. The British are one of few who actually contributed to the most dangerous parts in both nations. Equating their role and losses to a role player is flat out wrong

I believe the USA will also go undefeated.

Edit: England was no sidekick during WWII, they stood alone against the Axis powers until the United States joined the War. If it wasn't for England holding their own, we'd all probably be speaking German right now.

England was no sidekick during WWII,
Yes they were. They were the kobe to our shaq. The pippen to our MJ. the Pau to our Kobe. The wade to our lebron.

they stood alone against the Axis powers until the United States joined the War

They started the war with France and both of them got their asses kicked by the germans. At the battle of dunkirk the french and british navies helped evaluate most of the british infantry. France was quickly conquered and the germans installed the vichy government. The french fleet retreated to their colony in algeria. The british royal navy then proceed to turn on the french fleet (who had just helped them evacuated) and destroyed the french fleet while it was anchored at its base.

nobody ****ing wins world war 3. the human population will probably be wiped out because of nuclear warfare. that's why i dont think people are that stupid to start another world war. i have a little faith in humanity though unlike many people here.

no one will nuke anybody. there are no ways to benefit economically or politically by completely wiping out any country.

Well lets say the British Commonwealth. Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa were fighting alongside Britain.

The days of the "boots on the ground" large-scale field combat between first world nations are over.

It'll be closer to the Cold War, but with cyber warfare and state-sponsored terror being the orders of the day.

An open large scale military conflict betwen major powers today wouldn't result in one faction "stomp mud hole". Have you ever heard of a thing called "nuclear weapons"? There are multiple countries today that could potentially f*ck up all of human civilization if they feel like it. You can't win a grand scale war with nuclear powers involved if your opponent is willing to go all in. Those days are long gone.

I was speaking in hyperbole. It would be long drawn out war. I still think US side wins. I doubt any countries will use nuclear weapons. No one is that crazy.
