his last 5 game FG% is .350, 0-9 against Charlotte, and only 13 points tonight with 5-12 shooting. I liked the way he played couple of months ago but lately his game has been off. Do you guys know the reason?

Nothing. He's 23 years old and idiots on this site are mad at themselves for listening to the dumb hype the media spews so they have to keep coming in threads saying, "see, I told you he wasn't a superstar, blah, blah, durp, durp" as if they were telling anybody with common sense something they didn't already know, especially when no rational fan on this site as ever called him a bonafide superstar in the first place. /thread

Some of his muscle memories came along with his sperm that he blasted to the stripper.

Probably a bit physically and emotionally drained. I think the Pacers will eventually regret placing such an emphasis on the regular season. The Heat aren't coasting because they don't want HCA. The Heat are in cruise control because they understand that the regular season is the regular season, and if it takes sacrificing one home game in a playoff series to insure all your players are health and rested... it's worth it.

This. That's why KD should also take it a bit easy during the RS. I know that he's gunning for the RS, but OKC has to go through a bunch of difficult teams in the WC. Then they're most likely gonna meet Miami in the Finals. He needs his legs to be fresh.

Also, I think PG is emotionally drained with this stripper thing. Dude has flat out sucked over the past month. He averaging something around 21/7/3 on 36%. He's too young to be physically drained only 55 games into the season.

It's the stripper. She is going to cost him millions. It's gonna take some time to heal.

His last 10 games were good up until 2 games ago. Will be forgotten in a few weeks time.

He before sucked before the whole stripper fiasco. He's on my fantasy team I analyze his stats from every game. That 0/9 really hurt.

I said last year that he needs to stop shooting so much. He is not good enough offensively to shoot that much. Not every player can carry the scoring load. In fact, most players can't. I hate that this mindset is ruining NBA players.

One of the few times I actually agree with you 100%. He just isn't built to carry a team like that.

Still averaging almost what Harden does while playing elite defense.

he COULD be a superstar by age 25 if he works on hist jumpshot, gets some post moves and adds to his overall scoring arsenal.

Paul George 22.2 ppg, 6.5 rbs, 3.5 apg , 1.8 spg on 43% shooting
James Harden 24.6 ppg, 4.6 rbs, 5.7 apg, 1.5 spg on 46% shooting

Sucks Harden isn't a consistent defender cause when he does play some defense he's better than George.
But they're on the same tier

You know that not everyone can simply "work on" his jumper right?

It doesn't work that way. If you could simply work on your jumper, everyone would be Curry good at shooting now...

Agreed. They definitely are. Harden is an 8 on the offensive end and a 4 on the defensive end. Current PG is 9 on the defensive end and 5 on the offensive end. Pretty much the same.

I gave him props for playing well, which he was at the time.. Now hes back to playing like a role player..

Pressure, Huge expectation and stress. PG needs to stop thinking about his personal problems, and just concentrate on playing basketball.

this thread is disgusting. pg is a defender that can score, not a scorer that can defend. his play starts on the defensive end first, not the offensive end. everything else that comes with him is a plus.

It's one of two things. Either he is now playing way below his caliber for some unknown reasons or he was just doing very well at the first half of the season that people expected him to be that good all throughout which apparently he is not.

Personally guilty of the second one. I mean, he was converting on sick turnaround shots at one point, making bigtime buzzerbeaters and playing so smoothly with his beautiful fadeaway jump shots. He was even rebounding better, passing well while spending less time on the court. It would tak a fool not to appreciate his improvements, until 2014 came where slumps after slumps came.

If he cannot sustain it all throughout, he should comes up big in the play-offs or ahmm... just that. Anyway, this year is another leap-frog improvement for the young fella. Give creditt where credit is due!

You have to remember that PG came up from nowhere. His climb was greatly done in two years. Pressure creeps up on you and all eyes are on you watching your every move. At 23 its a lot to contend with. Never mind women. In recent memory you can't name five players that were great at taking on pressure by themselves at that young of age. Rose was one a few that could take on added pressure and not go thru a ton of changes at that age. Kyrie, whom I believe is having women issues too, is going thru the same thing as PG.

The public eye and expectations gets to most of the GOATs who thought they were destined to be the best. Much less someone like Paul George who was skeptical about his ability to make it in the NBA and 3 years later he's arguably top 5. That distance is crazy and the expectations are of a different world. He'll be fine after the whiplash heals... Growing pains.
