The difference defensively is not enough to separate the difference offensively.

No. I am right. You are wrong.
Anyways I think that it's about tied. Houston would miss Harden's 3-point shooting and 4th quarter scoring, while OKC would miss WB's defense.

OKC would be just fine, considering how well they did without Westbrook. The Rockets would be much, much better. Westbrook plays defense, can run a much better offense that could get Lin, Asik, Parsons, and Dwight even better buckets. All while being a more dynamic scorer. If you pack the paint and guard him tight on 3's with a long defender, you could potentially shut down Harden. There is no way to shut down Westbrook except Westbrook himself. He's just a force of nature.

both teams. Okc gets more minutes for reggie jax+harden+durant, Rockets get a slightly better player.

What are you talking about? How does Westbrook get the team better shots? Harden is the better fastbreak scorer and Westbrook may have a very slight edge on taking his man off the dribble, but that is completely disregarded when you realize that Harden is the far better shooter.

Harden is the more efficient offensive player while Westbrook is the better all around player. No doubt I would take Westbrook as I think he could lead his own team better than Harden can.
You can't measure everything Westbrook does on the statsheet. He has the motor of someone like Noah and that is pretty good trait to have. Honestly if there was a 50/50 ball in the air who would you bet on getting it? Westbrook or Harden?

For it being the first year of him running his own team, he did okay. I mean OKC without Westbrook was still stacked especially with the roster the Rockets had..and the Finals against the heat is overplayed, harden was a big reason why the Thunder even made it there, he did work against the Spurs.

I think Houston would be better overall. Westbrook can match Harden's productivity on offense, possibly even better + he's a much better defenisve player than Harden.
Westbrook is averaging 22 6 7 on 44% shooting this year following 3 surgeries & as a 2nd option with career low mpg, Harden's averaging 25 5 6 on 46% shooting as a 1st option with about 6 more minutes a game without major injuries. There's no doubt in my mind that a healthy Westbrook is better than Harden.

Though he played a big part against the Spurs, he totally disappeared in the Finals. 12 ppg on 38% shooting, are you serious?

Who cares? Miami choked the year prior. He did well against an experienced Spurs squad & destroyed Manu. He completely choked in the Finals. Even Chalmers outplayed him in that series.

Rockets would blow OKC outta that water.
Harden and Durant both are arm flailing fakkits who have the same skillset and harden doesnt play defense.
Lin could start for the Rockets again and him Westbrook and Dwight would dominate the ball while Parsons and Jones cut play off the ball and hustle.
this team would be unbeatable and the backcourt would blow any other in the league out of the water on both defense and offense as well as athletecism:applause: :applause:

harden choked the next year too. against a Westbrook less OKC after game 2 he only had one good game the entire series were he was burning from 3.
19 PPG on 39% FG.

Sorry boys, this is the one and only truth. It may actually be nice for both teams since Harden will defer a bit more to KD, but Houston undoubtedly gets better with Westbrook.

Well... yes but you're missing the point. The Twolves aren't even a playoff team (I agree they should be one though) and were never even talked about as more than a 1st round exit if lucky. You guys have been touted as possible contenders since before this season started.
It's only fair for Harden to be held to a higher standard than Love... Harden is the one leading a contending team, not Love.

Yeah and Harden isn't even as bad as Love. On-ball he's very solid, but he's lazy as hell and loses his defender off ball on picks a lot. I think he'll change it in the playoffs.

True, but what happened last year, people wrote off the Rockets as a lottery team beginning of the season and Harden brought them to the playoffs with Chandler Parsons as a second option. This year, he has them fighting for the third seed maybe second and people still talk down on him. I understand the defense but the dude deserves some respect, he's done nothing but turn the organization back into relevance
