Official ISH producer/musicians battle

Im bored and have hit a wall creatively. I need something reboot my creativity, and nothing does that more than a battle.

So I call for all producers (beatmakers) and musicians to join and have a face off.

Voting:

A. Have a select number of volunteers

or

B. Have the board in general vote

Voting should be done with complete objectivity. All of those voting should remove any bias towards the poster for the sake of the competition.

Rules:

- All beats/compositions should be 'fresh' meaning created specially for this competition. No previously created material should be submitted (takes away the fun).

- Should be submitted by the deadline set for round, no submission will be accepted after.

Since we have some producers and some instrumentalists we can split up the competition (producer vs producer/ instrumentalist vs instrumentals) or have it mixed (producer vs instrumentalist)

IF

We have a producer vs musician the producer isn't allowed to sample.

If a producer and a producer battle, they can decide to use a sample selected by a non participating poster.

To shake things up, we can make contestants submit 2 or 3 different 'theme' based songs. I.e. contestants need to enter a love song, aggressive song, dance song.

We can further discuss other elements depending on the reaction this contest receives. I understand that contests or anything regarding group participation usually dies off. Hoping this doesn't flop and posters that jump in do participate since it's 'their' work and something they love to do anyway.
