The man has career highs in ppg, PER, TS%, 3PT% & WS at 28 years old

Has been bounced around the league quite a few times, I thought he found a home in LA after the Playoff run but he didn't stick around due to $$$, but he's carrying Washington on offense this year & has stepped up with Nene out, just put up 28 points on 9-12 shooting.

Last 10 games: 19.1 ppg 7.3 rpg 2.2 apg 1.6 spg on 58/62/78 with 6 3PA a game.

MIP candidate?

Holy shit! I did not know that he's making 44% of his 3's at 6 attempts per game.

He pulling this same scam he pulled on the rockets all over again lol

He has gotten better over the years.

Morey took a chance and hoped that Ariza could produce as first option. He couldn't and dumped his mistake very qucikly.

We could use him next year in LA.

Dude is a straight up beast dropped 40 last week too (it was against Philly tho)

Gerald Green

Green has also been great, both players have similar numbers, but Ariza has been more effective, but I guess Green has improved more. Both also have a 40 pt game this season.

Not sure why they got rid him in the first place, Kobe seemed to like him.

Ariza would be perfect for Miami.

isn't it a contract year?

isn't it a contract year?
It is, watch him fade back to mediocrity until his next contract is up. His agent would do a solid favour to Ariza's career if he only got him one-year deals from now on.

Anyone remember Ariza's first couple years where he couldn't even shoot a jumpshot , let alone a three to save his life. Now dude's practically a 3 point specialist on offense. Dude defines putting work in. :applause:

He's been shooting the lights out recently. He's most definitely not carrying the Wiz on O. He's just shooting all the open 3's Wall is getting for him. He also played great in the post last night....on Ersan Ilyasova

Ariza is going to get overpaid this offseason and I hope it's not by the wizards. He's a great defender but at this point he is going to be SO overrated. There are plenty of other wings would could step in and take advantage of 4-6 wide open 3's a game. Plus he might be the worst wing in the league off the dribble. It's painful to watch him handle the rock. This is not saltiness, I've just watched most of the wizards games over the past few years so I know his game like the back of my hand.

The Lakers offered him 8 per year I think, and he was willing, but his agent talked him into holding out for 10. Then the Lakers let him walk and signed Artest. He ended up going to Houston for the same pay the Lakers offered him.

Gerald Green should be MIP because hes improvement is more surprising but if most underappreciated player was an award ariza would win it.

So is he the new Tim Thomas?
