good job. I'm a fan of Kawhi's. Dudes a beast and will be San Antonio's next franchise player.

too bad they are chokers of epic proportions come playoff time (losing to a 8th seed, backdoor sweep up 2-0 and literally handing the trophy to king james when he was already done for).

Spurs are the opposite of empty wins lol. They have several championships and great playoff runs spanning multiple generations (including the 2013 Finals). Somebody's mad.

These kids are mad that the Spurs routinely shit on their favourite team...unless they're Heatles, of course.

I was joking. I like the Spurs, unless I hear Skip Bayless talking about them.

spurs been doing this way too long. in the past 20 seasons they have only finished under .600 one time. that one time led to tim duncan.

they've been exceeding expectations each and every year. they were branded as old (and will be receding) since 2007, and yet still they've been in the championship race every year. no one expects them to be champs in any year after 2007, yet they almost came close us underdogs against the prime Heat team. however, if your expectation for their team is to win the championship every year since 2003, then yes they have disappointed several times, only getting 4 championships in more than a decade.

Man .. people talking @#$@# didn't watch that last Miami game. I loved every second of it. Spurs definitely had a chip on their shoulder.

You can hate the team but don't hate how they play... they're ballin' right now.

Don't the do this shit every year? What they do in the playoffs is all that matters.

A trip to the Western Conference Finals then another to the Finals. I'd say they're doing all right, considering they had to face Kevin Durant then the most stacked team in the league.

... Thunder just got beat in a physical game by the Lakers. You know .. that team that just got stomped by 40+ points by the Clips.

The playoffs in the West is going to be one for the ages IMO.

Spurs for the 2nd straight year are getting hot at the right time, I see another Finals run unless KD & Westbrook play at an unbeliveable level.

Bulls were relevant for 7-8 years during jordan era. Spurs have done better than bulls while playing in a way smaller market as compared to chicago/new york.

Spurs coasting to the best league in the NBA. lmao. Coasting isn't some shitty excuse for them when they lose. it's just a lifestyle.

goddamn I'd kill for Pop as the coach of OKC

It's funny because back in 2013, around the time they drew Memphis as WCF opponents, I thought they had a good chance to two-peat for the first time. It wasn't the media narrative but the facts were there, they appeared to have a good two year window where a last proud resurgence of Duncan, great play of Parker and emergence of Kahwi along with a relatively young, fresh supporting cast would coincide. I saw them matching up well against Miami (and they did).

Then Ray Allen hit that shot and I thought it would be the final nail on their coffin because it was such a traumatic way of losing - that it would alter their own expectations for 2014, so to speak. Bought into almost psychological bs that they'd now see it as, "we gave it a good last shot". But now I'm not so sure anymore... They're professionals, after all. They've seen it all, if any team can bounce back from such a demoralizing, confidence-breaking loss on the biggest stage it would be them. I think they're for real.

I think Spurs are peaking too early. Westbrooke will be integrated back in and Perkins and Thabo will return for OKC to peak in the playoff when it matters.

I think it's the right time for them to get healthy. They beat the Heat, which boast their confidence, and they could get their timing right again. They have been playing injured for entire season until now. That's very impressive that they could hang around the fighting for the top seed and finally ends up taking it when they are healthy. You can imagine this is what they are thinking.

Ppl counted us out, we were injured throughout the year, and when we finally got healthy, we have the best record in the league.

Granted, OKC is banged up too tho. What worries me is that they won't be 100% by time the playoffs. They might be fine, but it depends on if they get the chemistry back in. Westbrook seems to be ok. But they have to get some of their role players back.
