Lin is so goddamn underrated, I hate that he's rotting away on the Houston bench. The Rockets need to fire McHale and get a coach that will use Lin correctly, or Lin needs to get the **** out.
Hopefully it's the first one, a good coach could make a Lin-Harden backcourt work, and that'd be sick to watch.
Not the first time lol...

He's better now and it showed last game and definitely tonight.

Agreed, but in his defense, he has been plagued with minor, nagging injuries this season.
There was a time earlier in the season when I was screaming for Harden's head due to how crappy he was playing. Well...he was hurt, too.
Seems Houston's key players are finally all healthy and we're just seeing what they are capable of.

Harden is hilarious in this GIF. At first he looks like he's thinking *scratches head*, "what the **** is this guy talking about just give me the ball". Then he pretends to give a shit for about 3 seconds and then bounces while everyone is still huddled. :oldlol:

This was after Harden made the lay up. Wizards had the ball with less than a second left. I am curious to what he drew up though since it was for defensive purposes.

The reason why it hasn't worked is that both those guys are at their best as PnR ball handlers. There's no point having both of them on the court. Harden just happens to be better at it. If Lin was getting harden's minutes he'd be putting up 20+ easy.

thats why MCFail hates lin so much.
Lin has INCREDIBLE basketball IQ and probably exposed MCFails hustle, ound the ball inside scheme many times in practice.
Whenever he plays PG he makes passes on the regular, especially in the paint where you ask yourself:" how the fck did he know the guy would be open" luike seriously some of the best passes in the NBA. then you watch the replay and see it was no look too:biggums: :biggums:
hes an ELITE, yes ELITE defender. even the best PGs have problems scoring on him one on one and hes by FAR the best team defender at the PG position in the NBA. he blocked about 10 7 footers this season alone.
he has the fastest first step in the NBA and is one of the fastest players in the entire league.
GREAt finisher at the rim.
very good midrange shooter.
needs to work on that threeball but when really open he usually makes them.
pisses ice in the clutch.
problems: sometimes indecisive, gambles on defense sometimes and is deferring to much to lesser players like Parsons, hamilton and even beverley.
whenever hes used right tho and gets enough touches he absolute delivers and leads to wins often. he is also a rythm player so McFail really hurts him with those inconsistent minutes.
if they didnt need him so bad last game MCShithead would have benched him again for most of the 4th:facepalm
Rockets are now 16-1 when Lin takes more than 11 shots and are 16-6 when he plays more than 30 minutes:eek:
in short: its a fcking TRAVESTY that he isnt starting on this team and isnt dominating the ball. he can still let harden takeover in the 4th if needed and harden is hot:coleman:
with another Coach Lin would already be a well respected borderline allstar and the Rockets wuld be true contenders.
its very possible they get bounced in the first round with McFail :facepalm

HArden is a BY FAR worse playmaker and PnR player. its not even remotely close. statistics prove this too. harden is a ball stopper who is best at iso or spot ups. everytime he goes in the PnR he looks to finish himself or throws some fancy pass which is a TO 50% of the time.
harden is a fcking AMAZING spot up shooter thats why it doesnt make sense he never plays off the ball:facepalm :facepalm
Lin should get everyone involved and attack the rim in the first 3 quaters and harden should play off the ball more. of coursehe would still get MANY touches.
then in the 4th harden can still take over and iso if needed:coleman:
He doesn't play because he's weak defensively and because Harden refuses to play defense. You can't have both people in the backcourt be sieves.

what a freaking retard you truly are:roll:
he puts a lockdown on opposing PGs nearly every game and all they do is score on tough Jumpers.
he fcking destroyed Isaih Thomas,Tony PArker and John Wall in consecutive games earlier this season when he was starting and healthy.
they where something like 14-43 against him:roll:

Harden has been isoing more this year, but last season he had the 5th highest points per play in the league as a PnR handler. Even better than Cp3
I like Lin too, and you're right, when they share the floor Harden should be playing off the ball. He's not much better than Lin in PnR's, and he's much better than Lin as a spot up threat.
I'd like to see Lin in Dallas in Monta Ellis' role. I think he would absolutely LIVE at the rim/line

You can't pick and choose a few games and say that's real lin, but when he's not playing well, he's hurt, that's just a bad game. Bullshit on and on. Overall he's much weaker defensively than Beverly and we all know Harden's defensive acumen so they like playing Beverly with him.
I'm grateful for what Lin did in NY. I'm a fan of him and what he's doing or wherever he is.

look we all know you hate lin and thats okay. stay madd my man.
those games were just one example.
he always locks up minor PGs and even SGs and makes it much harder to score for good or elite PGs than Beverley.
Beverley fouls about 5-6 times each game against those PGs and gets away with handchecking.
just because the Houston media is spewing that Bullshit about Beverley being a better defender because he "hustles" doesnt make it true.
in reality beverley is just an average defender, because he always fouls like an idiot

BTW, agree that Lin could be a very good to excellent starting pg and is not currently being optimized in Houston.

How ironic that JR Scrub called out Lin's "ridiculous" contract... not so ridiculous when you consider JR is paid almost as much to help his team miss the playoffs in the East, and considering Lin singlehandedly streaked them into the playoffs that year
"Well Lin doesn't do playoffs, at least JR plays in the postseason" yeah... he plays hungover, bricking his team out of contention after being thirsty the previous night

he would easily be top 5
not even a question.
averages about 22/7 on 50+FG without harden and EVERYTIME when he is allowed to stay on the court and shoot he scores20+
rockets are 16-1, yes 16-1 when he takes more than 11 shots.

This isn't true, at all. Lin does very, very well against bigger guards - even against forwards when switched onto them. Lin is 6'3" and over 200lbs...
He has problems with the small, quick guards, especially when teams use a lot of screens. But his defense has improved tremendously.
