Noah is a more versatile player than Dwight & a better all-around defender.

The dude is averaging 13 12 5 with 1.1 spg 1.6 bpg with a much higher DWS(despite having played less games) & WS/48 & has a better DRTG & ORTG(Dwight's should be much higher since he's playing on a loaded offensive team). Dwight could never shoot, pass nor defend like Noah, but he is a better scorer & slightly better at rebounding, his shot blocking has fallen off due to playing on run & gun teams. Despite Dwight improving from last season, his impact is still not as big as it was in Orlando.

Noah anchors the 2nd best defense in the league with a bunch of role players.

Noah is a better leader, which is what I'm guessing has people starting to talk him up but there's no way he could be the franchise player on a great team. Dwight Howard has led a team to the Finals. Noah will not get that far without a strong return by Rose or signing Melo in the offseason. This is what happens when one guy is viewed as an overachiever while another is thought to be an underachiever.

He has a good stat line but all the indicators point to him being a pretty terrible teammate.

Chemistry is important in the playoffs. You have to know your teammates aren't going to check out or choke.
