View Full Version : After Brooklyn wins the title, where do they rank all time?

Are they a top 5 GOAT team?

Perfect well rounded roster that struggled early on due to chemistry issues ...

And then lose their franchise center, but yet they still continue to dominate...

Two HOF (one is GOAT PF) ending their careers on top...

I think I'd put them #3..

1. 96 bulls
2. 83 sixers
3. 14 Brooklyn nets

I dare any of you to argue with me..,

I fully agree with you, after Brooklyn wins the title I will acknowledge them as the #3 greatest team of all times.

Why do you post on this alt? Are you saving the KiddlovesNets name for the Spurs this year only? Or are you VC3 and just got tired of taking shit from all these predictions prior to the year?

They remind me of the 8th seed (?) Rockets that went on to win the title. Would be a cool NBA story instead of the usual Miami Heat headline.

But I hate KG (he's a fake tough guy to the max level) so I hope they lose in the first round or get swept in the second.

I don't see any reason a team which relies day in and day out on Blatche won't have three of the biggest upsets of all time and win a title.

Why would you rank a team based on a team winning? You're supposed to use that to rank players. :facepalm

Any team with Blatche is at least top 5 all time

Fun fact, my trash can lakers are only 5 games out of the 8th seed...if they were in the east.

Please you're making the rest of us Brooklynites look bad. Well besides Kiddlovesnets and Niko they dont need any help :D Second round birth and a Miami meltdown 2007 style, then we'll talk.

Miami can't beat us dude.. Were 2-0 an it's bout to be 3-0 when the truth straight up outplays lebron tomorrow..

Only team we need to worry bout is whoever makes it out the deadly west

After they get bounced by the Bulls in the first round they'll be borderline top 600 all time :applause:

Is Brooklyn good? Can the Heat get him?

I'm probably the longest tenured Nets fan here and I don't think we'll come close to winning the title. We still struggle to score through stretches and the majority of our points comes from jump shots. Our defense isn't strong enough to overcome those weaknesses.

Really, our best shot is if KG really has something left in the tank to become a viable low post option in the clutch. If he doesn't, then a combination of Joe Johnson + Deron or Paul Pierce has to be absolutely necessary.

Also it wouldn't hurt if Marcus Thornton could play well in consecutive games.

Real talk. They have a shot to go far if they bring their "A" game.

Rockets were 6th seed but they wouldn't have won the title if they didn't acquire Clyde Drexler at the deadline

Could say that for every team in the playoffs. Everybody has a shot if they bring their "A" game.

It's too vague.

Their not in the playoffs yet, amazing considering how much of a free fall the Hawks been at.

They could have legit competed for a Top 4 seed in the East if they don't lose Horford, Millsap, and Antic to extended injuries.

They have no shot bro

Exactly.

If the Nets are implied to have a shot, then Toronto, Chicago, and Washington have shots too.

Actually think Brooklyn have a good chance of upsetting Miami. They'll find Indiana are more difficult match up.
