For the sake of basketball I hope he can get/stay healthy.

Also hope what he experienced in high school is unrelated to the stress fracture.....hate to see it be a re-occurring problem.

I can almost hear his draft stock falling.

Stay in School Big Guy.

He should still declare even if he is able to play in the tournament.

isn't. Need to proofread typing via the phone. I've been butchering some posts.

I figure with two unknowns in Townes and Okafor. Depending how they look they may challenge Embiid if he were to stay. Obviously he would have the upper hand when it comes to projected top pick. But as a season progresses, who knows if one or both show something. Similar to how Embiid has when he wasn't projected to be the top pick in 2014.

That is my thinking.

good thinking. Sound reasoning.

Staying out could cost him money, staying in school could further hurt his stock if he were to be injured or out played.

He's in a tough spot, thats for sure.

If I were him I'd probably sit out the tourney, then enter the draft.

Yeah, I would definitely enter the draft. Don't risk further black marks on your record by staying. Maybe time with NBA level trainers and a top flight medical staff will help get his body right.

Drummond had a similar injury and recovered but Embiid needs to make sure he takes the time to heal.
