They believe God is almighty and looks out for them. I've seen people use religion to help them get through tragedies and they believe Jesus is a higher power doing it for a reason.

Mind you I grew up going to the Church of the NFL on Sunday Mornings, with services at 10 am and 1 pm, and later the NBA on NBC.
