Lebron wasnt the problem for this loss, but he's been terrible since he scored 61.

This loss was really about the Nets getting hot from 3 and some questionable Spolestra decisions.

he should give up on the MVP at this point and figure out how to be good in the playoffs. he needs to get his shot back and should practice in those remaining regular season games.
Heat should also figure put how many shots Wade and Bosh take.
everytime they take many shots LEBron becomes basically useless.

Very interesting to see the distinct difference between Heat fans and Bron stans.

It should also be noted that OP is a known Bron stan, and is clearly making an effort to either save face or fit in.

LeBron was shit in the first half. His regular dominant self in the 3rd. And passive as **** in the fourth.

When paired with his latest string of underwhelming games, it's clear that KD is ahead currently in the MVP race. KD hasn't had a stretch of games this long of being average, I don't think. And that will serve as a sharp determining factor regardless of how these last 20 games or so turn out.

He's been playing like ass since the bobcats game. I think this is definitely an aberration of his play in the 4th qtr, I watched like 3 of miamis games in a row against PHX, DAL and us a few weeks back and he played very well in the 4th iirc. Admittedly I haven't watched a heat game since they played in OKC so I don't know what's up with him. But im gonna save the harsh judgement for the playoffs if its required, because that's when it really matters, not in the regular season.

He really hasn't been worrying with his FG% these past couple of weeks. Since Jan, he has been taking almost 20 shots a game on 56%, compared to 16 shots a game on 58% prior to that. He went 8/23 against the Bulls and 6/18 against the Spurs. It's more about saving possessions than his FG% since Miami can't rebound for shit. His jumper has gone to shit. First it was his 3pt shot (broken since early Jan and then his midrange jumper.

He was passive from the opening. Had something like 6/3/4/2 at the half. Wasn't looking to score at all. Kept passing the ball.

All the retards, who're crying about Bron, the only reason his FG% is impressive is because he's maintaing his PPG at 27. If he doesn't score and his PPG drops, while he is trying to "protect his fg%", no one is gonna give a shit. 23-24 points on 58% isn't as impressive as 27 PPG on 58%.

I don't have a problem with what Lebron did last night. First of all, he did shoot. He drove to the basket and was fouled at the 5:30 mark. He missed, so the shot didn't count against him. Secondly, he was making sound basketball plays. When he had the ball he passed it to guys that were sitting wide open. He didn't look passive, he just didn't shoot that much. He didn't need to. DWade was shooting damn near 80% and Bosh was also doing well. In fact, Bosh scored on an And-1 that cut the lead to one with just seconds to play.

He didn't do anything last night that I haven't seen Magic Johnson do most of his career. Bron has the horses. Pretty much everybody on the floor could make a play. No need to shut them out just to play hero ball.

He doesn't have the mentality of MJ or Kobe and that's ok. He's won two titles doing things his way.

Yeah, I saw that time Wade had the ball with Lebron begging him for it and Wade decided to shoot an awful turnaround jumpshot. It was a bad play but Wade had it going last night so those things will happen sometimes.

As for the people saying Durant > Lebron... Durant can't see Lebron. I'm not saying Durant doesn't deserve the MVP or that he isn't playing out of his mind. But if I had a choice between Lebron leading my team in the playoffs and Durant, I'd take Lebron every single time.

Think he's taking it easy & is trying to get his conditioning back up, obviously isn't 100% right now. The 3 straight Finals runs have taken it's toll & it's starting to show. All great players go through this.

Yeah I was only commenting on the 4th quarter last night only. He does tend to shy away from taking tough shots under duress and he does seem to be concerned about his field goal percentage. Maybe that's something a team will exploit in the playoffs. I don't think Lebron likes winning ugly. You know, those 6-20 games that sometimes are needed. Last night wasn't one of those games but I've seen a few that were.

If a team can defend Lebron and force him to take tough shots and not allow him to get a head of steam then maybe he'll become passive later in the game. Force him to either win playing ugly or lose with efficient fg %. That could be an interesting dilemma.

The problem is I don't think there is a team that could force that issue for a seven game series. Maaaaayyybee San Antonio. Maybe Indiana. A team with some bigs that could stop Lebron from getting easy layups, postups and putbacks. That would force him to rely almost exclusively on his jumpshot. At the same time, Indiana turns the ball over too much and would give Miami too many breakaway layups. And San Antonio failed last year. I doubt they'd succeed with the same strategy this year since Miami would know what to plan for.
