the default url of NBA.com for other countries is the local NBA.com website. not the US one. and for most countries, their local NBA website sucks.

Its super ****ing annoying, eveytime it directs me to sportal page i just change to the regular site. The box score updates are always slow as well.

I suggest sending in as many complaints as you can be bothered to pen. I'll often send an angry tweet to @NBA. If enough of us do it, they might lean on Sportal and get them to step their game up.

The other thing I can suggest is.. to just not go there. Plenty of other places on the web to get boxscores

I sent a scathing email to NBA.com about 3 weeks ago complaining about this shit.

The return mail I got basically said "We don't give a **** cos Sportal is paying us money to be our Aussie website"

The Videos ALWAYS work for me, there are NO ADS, scores are always on point and I can check the box score at any time :lol

yeah most annoying thing since it began. I always have to do it twice as well as the first time I miss the click to set US to default. The sportal site sucks balls.
