Kobe Bryant's Finals stats are actually worse than LeBron James. I mean, why do y'all act like this isn't the case?
lebron averages the most points per game in an elimination game / game sevens. kobe averages around twenty two points per game on terrible shooting percentages. kobe stans are clueless.

Not really impressed with such a small sample size.

Even worse if you consider game 6 versus the Spurs was literally given to them.

If this was true he'd have way more Finals appearances.
Lebron's illusion of less = success is overrated

what do those cherry picked stats have to do with anything? i remember when kobe averaged twenty nine points per game - ten rebounds per game and eight assists per game in the finals. i remember when kobe dropped thirty seven points in the game seven of the finals. oh wait no i don't.

Doesn't Kobe also have like 4 triple-doubles in the Finals? Oh wait...NVM, that's had him confused with LeBron.

How about 16 points on 37% (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2000_finals.html) or 23 points on 38% (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2004_finals.html)?
With a PRIME Shaq, BTW. Who were LeBron's teammates?

Kobe's season where he missed the playoffs was far more impressive.

I'll give 2000. '04? He played one of the GOAT defenses.
What about the teammates? That makes Lebron's worse since he was responsible as a distant 1st option while Kobe wasn't and Shaq took up the points.

played 9 minutes in game 2, didn't play in game 3 (which the Lakers lost) then came back to have a huge game 4 only to be bothered by a fcked up ankle the rest of the series
27/6/5 on 62% TS (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2002_finals.html) /32/6/7 with 1.4 steals & 1.4 blocks on 53% TS (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/NBA_2009_finals.html)

that was his second year in the league, not in his prime years.

GOAT defenses? No. Kobe made them look great with all his bricks! Lakers were HEAVY favorites in that series, yet Kobe sabotaged the team out of a ring just so Shaq wouldn't get another Finals MVP. :facepalm

So we gonna use injury excuses now? Well in that case Lebron had a bad elbow on his shooting arm in 2010, which is the only reason the Cavs lost to the Celtics.

And yet, Kobe took almost the same number of shots as Shaq (except in '00). Sometimes, even more ('04).
The '04 Pistons were great, but lets not act like the Spurs were bad. They were a GREAT defensive and offensive team. LeBron might've actually won, if he had another good player with him. The Spurs' entire game plan was to stop LeBron and let the other get theirs. LeBron with prime Shaq would've CRUSHED that Spurs team.

This idea that in the few Finals performances he's had somehow outweighs Kobe's Legendary Western Conference runs , +Good Finals play is ridiculous.
Lebron literally only became a winner in 2012 Playoff wise.

Why these Kobe stans trying to pretend that their boy doesn't shoot 41 percent in the Finals for his career? :lol :lol That is pathetic, especially considering he played with prime Shaq for most of those appearances, meaning Kobe NEVER had to face a double team.

2012, which was his 9th year. How many years did it take Kobe to become a winner playoff wise without big daddy Shaq carrying him? The answer would be 13 years!

When the **** has Kobe never drew a Double Team? Especially in the Finals.
You Ho's can't have it both ways, either he can't draw double Teams, or he's a volume shooter who tries to shoot over a double.
You must be getting shit confused with your boy Lebron, who's best defenders have been Boris Diaw and Jason Terry. :oldlol:

Not if he can't bounce back from that 61 pt performance.
Which only speaks volumes about the kinda player Bron is if one has to say something like that after a 61 point game.
