recap:

Houston loss = tired from the struggle 61
Spurs loss = sleeved jersey
Bulls loss = they don't play like that against any other team
Nets + Nuggets loss = Wade's return like he didn't join Wade's team

Yeah. Playing alongside the guy who you decided to team up with in the first place and have gotten to 3 straight NBA Finals with is definitely going to take you out of your rhythm.

BuffaloBill

LeBron dominated the ball for 2 years now and was doing nearly everything for this team.
suddenly Wade takes the same or more shots and has the same usage.
of cozrse it takes him out of his game.
doesnt mean he needs to take dumb shots, brick shots and finish like a bitsch at the rim

Westbrook, who was pinned as a more complex dynamic to reinsert into the Thunder's lineup, returned and, despite OKC's initial struggles, KD's numbers stayed pretty consistent.

Idk. Either it's an excuse, or if it's true, then it makes KD's ability to sustain his elite productivity over his own transition more impressive.

They're not synching correctly and they look off. That "switch" being turned on and off only works for so many years.

Sometimes if a team doesn't get into a rhythm it just ends up killing them later.

So basically Wade can't win. If he's not aggressive, then he's just just dead weight being carried by LeBron if they win, and it's his fault if they lose. But, if Wade starts playing like, you know, himself then all of the sudden James gets his panties bunched and plays like he's wearing a pair.

If you think about it, Wade is actually more valuable to a team than LeBron if there's more than one superstar on it. He's Batman, but can squeeze into Robin's costume and yet still play at Batman's level. LeBron can only be Batman, or he turns into, I don't know, Alfred.

It's simply noting that he got out of rhythm with Wade healthy and things being different. It's acknowledging reality, and adjusting to it to get back into rhythm.

Reminds me of playing one on one against my uncle. I like to go over all the mistakes I made, particularly mental mistakes. I basically do a breakdown, and he'll take it as if I was making excuses.

How is acknowledging a problem making excuses?

I will say that Lebron should stay quiet, most famous people should stay quiet, because most people really can't interpret what others are truly saying.

Like the Phil Jackson "a" & "the" thread. Eventually there came a point in the thread where people were trying to interpret what Phill said before and after the "a" & "the." And it just showed me that talking is almost worthless because everyone interprets a different reality. I mean, as Phil Jackson talked he said something that he meant and understood completely, yet everyone else had a different interpretation, which cannot all be 100% right, which means that everybody is completely wrong, or only one person is correct and everyone else wrong. Not a good percentage at all. That lack of being able to comprehend is probably the main reason for all the problems in the world.

I don't think he preferred Wade to be hurt at all its just that Wade hasn't been this healthy for awhile now so everyone(including Bron himself) is use to the ball being in his hands most of the time. Now that Wade has gotten a lot more healthy it's kinda harder for Bron to get into a rhythm now that he's getting less and less touches. It's like the beginning of 2011 all over again and those 2 are gonna have to find away to blend their playstyles once again. They figured it out once and they can probably do it again.

What the hell are you talking about you clown? The only reason LeBron, or Bosh for that matter, are in South Beach is because of Wade in the 1st place. No Wade and LeBron's in Cleveland or NY and Bosh is probably in Chicago. Effectively, Wade is the ONLY reason the Heat have ever won a title. Without him and there's no 2006, 2012, or 2013.

As for people saying LeBron is right, he CHOSE to join Wade's team. He KNEW that Wade was an on the ball ISO player with several redundancies when paired with himself. LeBron needs to quit being a bitch, PERIOD. If he wanted LeBron ISO/PnR ball for 40 minutes a game, he should have kept his ass in Cleveland. Maybe he should learn to adapt his game, something he could learn from Durant. Durant played just like LeBron in Cleveland when Westbrook was out, as soon as Westbrook comes back he goes to an off the ball role and his productivity hasn't gone down whatsoever.

Best case scenario he is acknowledging his incapability to cope with the new situation (mental weakness). But I read it over and over and no where does he take responsibility, even partly, for his own shortcomings. So he is obviously making up excuses.

Wade has had to subjugate his game, and its resulted in him being a much better and effective offball player than Lebron. What Lebron is saying, essentially, is that any situation that makes him less ball-dominant ( like Wade playing better and getting more touches) throws him off because he knows one way to play in the half-court, and that is to be ball dominant with everyone playing off him.

I don't care at all if he leaves. All I care about, is that Wade is in a Heat uniform until the day he calls it quits. I would also like for Chris Bosh to stay.

LBJ is just unlikeable.
It's posts like this that make me think Lebron should leave Miami. You Wade stans are so ungrateful for what Lebron had done for your boy. :facepalm
Before Lebron came Wade couldn't even get out of the first round and was basically irrelevant. Lebron single handedly carried the team to their title last season, and in 2012 as well. Wade was playing so bad you had the TNT guys calling him and Bosh the Miami Cavaliers. :lol Wade has the easiest gig of the big 3 to be honest. If he plays like shit it's always excused because he is "hurt." If he plays well he gets unlimited praise for beating the odds.

I accept Lebron is the best player on our team, and a lot of the success is attributed to him. Im a big fan of Lebron. But despite what some would have you believe, this isnt the Miami Cavaliers. Lebron isnt willing this team forward on his own. The Heat have a well oiled machine and everyone on the team contributes, thats what makes them elite. Its always been like that. So Lebron shouldnt be talking as if he is the only guy behind this team, because it simply isnt true.

Obviously everyone makes a valuable contribution, but you can't deny Lebron is the biggest reason for Miami's last 2 championships. It's just sickening to listen to the Wade stans "aka self proclaimed true Heat fans" calling Bron a bitch or whatever because of a regular season slump. Do these fools realize how irrelevant their team would be if it was only Wade and no Lebron? Wade would probably break down half way through every season with the Heat fighting for an 8th seed. Thankfully Wade has Lebron, meaning he gets to sit out every time he feels the slightest bit sore.

Firstly, I am not blaming Lebron for this slump. He is one of the reasons, sure, but the whole team is playing under par. Secondly, this team would not be irrelevant without Lebron. We would make ECF easily without Lebron, but go no further. Still, I dont call that irrelevant. Finally, Wade has played through injuries throughout his career. Dude has taken more damage than 99% of players will ever take due to his playing style. Just because we now have a team good enough to allow him to rest up fully for the playoffs, doesnt mean Wade is now a hindrance because hes sitting out. I have no doubt he could play every game, but that would be stupid since we want him at his peak in the playoffs.

How does that give him any right to shit on the ***** that gave Miami their first ring ever? The number one reason lebron is even there in the first place.

I don't get it. Would LeBron prefer for Wade to be injured and not play as well? How does this make sense? If a player is going strong and is maintaining a good form, then your level of play decreases and is hurt by that? :wtf:

These ****** need to get it sorted out by Playoff time.

I concur on both accounts.

The Heat will be fine, but the recent funk and these disparaging comments from Bron are troubling. Again, KD had to deal with a more ball dominant player being inserted into the lineup in Westbrook, and still his level of production remained the same. Certainly not the steep drop off that has occurred with LeBron.

Think he should just admit he got tired after trying to force the MVP into his grasp, instead of subtly throw Wade under the bus.

Dragonyeuw

LeBron should be good at off the ball play, but definitely doesn't want to play that role right now.

Then he is limiting how effective he and Wade can be, while their sheer talent relative to their competition has resulted in back to back titles, Lebron/ Wade lacks the organic synergy of a Jordan/Pippen, where there was always a defined pecking order and they were much better at interchanging their roles. Lebron and Wade joined when they were fully developed talents with their own tendancies. They're, for the most part, rhythm players who need the ball to be their most effective, though as I explained earlier Wade has had to learn to play off ball for their tandem to really work( also to compensate for the loss of physical ability from age/injuries).

I don't see why Lebron should struggle with Wade being healthier. Just keep doing what was working earlier. Wade's shot has really improved so focus on feeding him the ball more & stop passing the shit around the perimeter until the shot clock runs out in the 4th quarter, be aggressive and drive to the basket as much as possible.

LeBron to me hasn't been aggressive enough since the 61 point game. Whenever he misses he looks discouraged to shoot the next one. Just shoot it and don't give a **** about missing or making it. That's the real issue. There comes a time every year when LeBron stops trusting his jump shot, last year it was the Finals and luckily for him it came back when it mattered the most. This year he's struggling since his 61 point game..

Only reason you think LBJ is the "main reason" for the 2 rings is because Wade WILLINGLY stepped down as the superstar that he is, to let LeBron have the lead role for the betterment of the team.

Wade did this, because LBJ stinks off the ball, and he simply sucks when the offense isn't 100% around him, like you saw in the 2011 Finals with LeBron's pathetic disappearing act.

If LBJ was as good as Wade is as an all around player, the Heat would be going for a 4-peat right now.

its dumb that Wade now shoots as much or more than Bron because he himself made the decision that for the Heat to go all the way Lebron must be the dominant player.
the difference between LeBron and Wade is LeBron can dominate without making the team worse.

Here are the full quotes:

"In the fourth quarter, second half, the game has presented different challenges and I haven't had the ball in my hand as much," James said. "It's something I'll be more conscious about, either demand the ball or just put myself in a position where I get it. So that's the balance that we've been working with right now, because he's played so well as of late, and he's been handling the ball a lot as of late, and I've kind of gotten out of rhythm. And it's something that I have to figure out."

"It's a challenge," James said. "When he was in and out, I knew exactly what I had to do and exactly how I had to attack the game and go from there."

"And as his health has gotten better, it's gonna be better for the team, but it's kind of gotten me out of rhythm right now as an individual," James said. "But it's not like it's our first year playing together. It's something that we figured out on year one. But you can't take it for granted. You still got to try to figure it back out, and it's something I'm going through right now."

James laughed when asked, tongue in cheek, about a "beef" between him and Wade.

"Yeah, have that be a story," James said, still smiling. "Absolutely. I hate him."

"We're fine as far as our relationship," Wade said. " One thing is that he's happy that I'm healthy and able to be there in the fourth quarter to run offense. And the whole burden isn't on him. And it's just about finding the right combination. I thought last night we got ourselves in a big hole, but we had the right combination."

"Team-wise, we understand that sometimes, it's just gonna feel (as if you're not), because we have future Hall of Fame guys, we got All-Stars and superstars on this team, and a bunch of talent," Bosh said. "But there's only one ball. We just got to not learn how to share it, but learn what works for us, but if a guy has got it going, we're talented enough to just kind of rely on that and have our playmakers make plays and our shooters make shots."

And all you so called Heat fans who're hating on Wade or Lebron are straight up embarrasing. They play on the same f.ucking team.

lebron stans and heat fans shouldn't really care about anything that happens in march. they are playing the regular season for the ****s of it and are giving very minimal effort. it's not like this is their first year together, or coming off a finals loss, they are back to back champs, on there way to three peating, conserving as much as energy they can for the real deal.
Oh conserving energy? Does it take more energy to make shots than it does to miss? That seems to be the only difference in his play now. He's still taking the same amount of shots so I don't get where this conservation of energy thing is coming from.

FACT: Wade is a career loser if it weren't for Lebron recruiting him to Miami.

Wade won a championship & a FMVP in a dominating fashion in his 3rd season

Heat fans turning on each other this is truly glorious! Lebron d!ckriders and Wade stans showing how truly clueless they are when it comes to cheering on a team.

While the rest of us just sit and watch in amusement:

I'm in agreement with the Heat fans versus the LeBron stans, as I typically am. Wade is the soul of that franchise, it's good to see there are fans that recognize this and defend him accordingly.

Giant overreaction thread. What he said wasn't as bad as people are making it out to be. Spoelstra is clearly going with Wade a lot right now since he's getting healthier. He wants Wade ready for playoffs so Bran will get less touches. Not sure how this is a surprise, or how what he said is a shot at Wade. Same thing happened to Durant when Westbrook came back

I remember he missed a few games with Cleveland because he had a sprained finger--on his non-shooting hand. :facepalm

And all you so called Heat fans who're hating on Wade or Lebron are straight up embarrasing. They play on the same f.ucking team.

Shut the whole thread down and people are pretending there is something left to talk about. :oldlol:
