how else do i respond to the posts i made earlier in the day. google isn't accurate and up to date with it

That's not what a search function is for. This is exactly the reason why some boards don't have a search function, because idiots use it for shit like keeping track of their own activity.
Go your user cp, go to options. look for:
Default Thread Subscription Mode
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Then you can keep track of all your shit.

sort the form alphabetically which makes it easier to find your thread if you remember the thread title.
