Michael Jordan. There's a reason why people say he's the greatest basketball player to ever play

If it was a blind draft and I didn't know what those players would become, Shaq is the obvious choice, with Duncan and Lebron next.

If I knew exactly what kind of players they'd become and their game trajectory, I'd go with Jordan by a HAIR over Shaq. I want to say that with prior knowledge, I could build a more consistently dominant team around Shaq...but it's Michael Jordan. And if I knew that beforehand, there's no way I could live with myself if I picked anyone over him.

Jordan for me. The following two would be Shaq and Magic IMO.

if this based on how they were before the NBA then this is how i will choose:
Shaq
Duncan
Lebron/Jordan
Magic
Bird
Dirk

Jordan would be the first pick of course if we are doing with all the knowledge we have now after he has retired but at the draft time it would have been hard and i am putting jordan with lebron only because jordan played in college while lebron didn't and i think college level play gives better idea even though lebron showed more talent but it was against inferior players.

Shaq's my favorite player all-time, but of those specific players I'd go Duncan or MJ.

If you don't take Jordan first, with hindsight, you're delusional.

Without prior knowledge? Shaq then Duncan.

Knowing how their careers played out. Well, that'd just be my all-time list.

Over Lebron?:oldlol: :facepalm

Absolutely. I still consider both of them ahead of LeBron, and before the draft they were more "sure things" as well.

Look at LeBron's first season numbers compared to Duncan's and Shaq's :oldlol:

Duncan or Bird. You can build almost any kind of team around them. The thing about Jordan and LeBron is they are kinda hard to build a good team around. Jordan needed guys who would feed him the ball and hit shots. LeBron needs 3 and D players all around him with another elite option to go to when they need a spark.

I'll take the flexible franchise cornerstones over guys who need a perfectly fit team to win.

Based on not knowing what they did in the pros:

Shaq
Duncan
Magic
Bird
Jordan
LeBron
Kobe
Dirk

without prior knowledge of how the players develop:

Shaq 1a
Lebron 1b both depending on what my talent my team has at center
Duncan
Magic
Jordan
Bird
Dirk
Kobe

with knowledge of how they develop:

Jordan
Shaq ahead of lebron only because todays nba is weak at C, in normal circumstance would pick lebron as he will finish higher on my all time list with a better career than shaq
Lebron
Duncan
Bird
Magic how do you clowns have magic over lebron knowing magic will play 12 seasons or 13 if you count the 37 games in 96 ? lebron at 29 has 80 less games in his career and when it's all said and done will play at least 6 more seasons than magic :facepalm
Kobe 8a
Dirk 8b

Duncan or Shaq depending on how my roster is looking
then id go with Lebron due to his athleticsm

but if i knew how they turn out and how they will be
id go wtih Duncan still due to his play on both ends
