View Full Version : Only 2 player in NBA history have a run that's on par w/ Lebron's career playoffs avg
MichaelCorleone
03-17-2014, 08:58 AM
LeBron playoff career average: 28.1 PPG, 8.6 RPG, and 6.7 APG
These are LeBrons averages for 8 PLAYOFFS YEARS
Only TWO players in NBA History have even had an INDIVIDUAL playoff run with at least 28-8-6. Oscar Robertson who played with an inflated pace and stats, and Kevin Durant last year.

Marlo_Stanfield leave these Kobetards alone. We should take the high road, considering their hero is now a cripple and will stay home for the next decade watching Lebron win rings+FMVPs. Kobe is slowly fading into obscurity and his fans/tards are busy trying to "tarnish" Lebron's legacy, sad.

maybe if he didnt choke the first 2 finals

the one where he went 0-4 and the other one where he wasnt playing against Dallas

The stats clearly don't tell the whole story.
LeBron has been horrible in two of his four Finals appearances, and he didn't even look that good in last year's Finals until the last two games.
I'm not a LeBron hater at all, but there are definitely more than two better Playoff performers than him. Le't see him win without two other All-Stars first.

Title is completely misleading. Players don't have to necessarily put up the same (or greater) numbers in each category for the performance to be as good, if not better.
To take an extreme example, consider one player averaging 10-5-5 in the playoffs and another with 35-15-3. In your criteria, the latter would not be considered in performances up to par with the former, even though that is absolutely ridiculous.
MJ, Shaq, Kareem, Magic, Duncan, Hakeem, Bird etc have all had runs better than Brons playoff average. Their playoff averages may even be better.

How many players in NBA history have scored 10 less ppg from their season average in the Finals?
LeBron did it in 2011.
Anyone else?

Cool. Let me know when he does it against handchecking,no defensive 3 seconds, PED testing, no stretch fours, less 3s, non corrupt refs, without Wade/Bosh/Z/Allen/Parker/Williams/Shaq/Jamison/Miller/Gibson, etc. carrying him and does it in the West. Till then it has a * Barry Bonds style

lebeon i also thefirst to do that after joining two superstarts because he couldnt win. He left cleveland so wade and bosh could win ot for him. he could not win in cleveland. HE JOINED OTHER STARTS IN HIS PRIME. NO ONE RESPECTS THAT. SORRY TO BREAK IT TO YOU.
HE LEFT HIS TEAM AFTER NEVER WINNING. HE JOINED A TEAM THAT COULD DRAG HIM TO A RING. RING CHASING IS THE TERM.
HE LEFT CLEVELAND AD COULDNT WIN
HE LEFT AND JOINED RIVALS IN HIS PRIME
JORDA NEVER DID THAT
KOBE NEVER DID THAT
BRAN JOINED WADE IN HIS PRIME AFTER NOT WINNING IN CLEVELAND
