They happen almost daily in Oklahoma.

You felt a tiny 1.3 earthquake and posted a thread about it?

4.4

It's noteworthy. First real shaking I've felt since Northridge. The big one has yet to come though.

Probably still sleeping. But I'm sure you can use an earthquake frequency of once every decade or so to convince them otherwise.

4.5 is pretty big.

We've had a ton of 1-4's for the past few months.... weird as hell because the first one I ever felt was like 2 years ago and they've been happening ever since.

Undiscovered fault line? :biggums:

Tornadoes and earthquakes?

:biggums:

**** OKC

I felt it this morning. my gf wakes up at 6 on week days to head home to get ready for work. so as i was laying in bed, falling back asleep, i felt a real light shake of my bed and just waited there wondering if itd hit harder. then i immediately fell back asleep.

That's what you're supposed to do... When it starts you don't know how big it's going to be

Do you wait for the gunfire to stop before you duck?

It's called the Worst Coast for a reason. Nothing of value would be lost.

And don't bring up Hollywood or the Lakers, because then you'd only be proving my point.

Since your in Florida, you have to worry about hurricanes every winter, sink holes and crazy drug addicts.

We haven't had an actual hurricane in years. Even so you get plenty of time in advance to prepare for them (unless you're in new orleans apparently). Everything below Cat 3 is pvssy mode, you can sleep through that shit

None of this random "wake up one morning and every house on my street is gone" nonsense that comes from the less privileged areas of our glorious country. I don't know why you lot willingly put yourselves through that :confusedshrug:

I survived a 7+ magnitude earthquake. I was half asleep at around 8am when it happened. I jumped out of bed and ran like crazy while chunks of wood and concrete were falling around me. It was like the end of the world.

I live near San Francisco and felt the house shaking at like 3am for 5-6 seconds. It got stronger and stronger but suddenly stopped. I think there will be a real big earthquake around here in the next decade. These small shakes keep happening every couple months.

Both California and Florida are nice if you have money, especially California because it has Florida weather without the humidity. But if you don't have lots of money both California and Miami, are becoming garbage. Most of the good people are leaving California, mainly to Oregon, Texas and Colorado to where me, and most of my family moved to. The weather was awesome but they can keep their crappy, racially segregated schools, high income disparity, dumb overregulation and high taxes. The earthquakes never bothered me tho'.
