Hey all, I'm looking to transfer a balance and I was wondering if you could point me to a direction while doing so. What should I be looking for as far as APR, _X_ month financing, etc etc? I just finished college, credit score of 700, with four credit cards and all but my Capital One paid off. The Capital One is taking half of my minimum payment in interest as of last month (looks like highway robbery to me).
Can any credit card veterans help a brother out? Thanks in advance.

you can get a new credit with 12-18 month no interest fees. the balance transfer fee is usually a one time 3-5%. make sure you pay that off before the no interest expires, the interest after the grace period will be around 14-16%
hope that helps.

Only transfer if you have a 0% offer, because most offers will charge you a flat fee, so unless you are getting a big transfer offer it's not worth it.
For instance if you are transferring from a loan/card at 5.99% interest to one with 2.99% interest and 3% fee, well you really aren't saving any money at all, in fact you are probably losing money since the 3% is added to your balance right away.
Either way do the math and read all the fine print, unless you have a balance on a card that is like 12%+ APR, and are going to 0% for 18 months its probably not going to be worth it.
Anyway if you do transfer, pay it off before the introductory period ends, or else you end up paying even more interest.

What's the best cash back card on the market?
Amex Blue
best advice to young folks is to only use your credit card to buy things that you can afford, meaning you have the financial capacity to pay it off at the end of each month. if you need to borrow money, don't borrow money for stupid depreciating shit. do it for real stuff that build equity.

Chase Slate.
As someone with cards from 10+ different providers, done tons of balance transfers, etc I can definitely say Chase is the best.
I used the Chase Slate for the balance transfer, and use the Chase United Mileage Plus card for purchases etc. The reward of having flights is awesome. So far have earned 4 roundtrip to Asia flights. Really helps.
