The ''second best player in the league'' and the ''best PG since Magic'' (both according to HamtaroCP3KGKD) lost by 58 in the playoffs AT HOME. Why does everyone laugh at Melo for being a 1st round fodder, but not at CP3? He gets a pass for everything.

CP3 gets the most passes out of any star in this league, if he doesn't get to the WCF this year people need to hold him accountable.

Because according to everyone his supporting cast is so terrible, and he deserves 0 percent of the blame

Wow. That's embarrassing.

He's 6 foot and has a limited impact on the game.

:confusedshrug:

He's top 5 by default. Who else is consistently leading their team to wins in the playoffs?

He has an MVP caliber and top five sidekick in Blake, he has fine role players, and he has a solid coach in Doc. It is basically impossible for him to fail, again. WCF (at least) or bust for me. How fun would it be if the Grizzlies kick them out in the 1st round again.

With NO - poor supporting casts.
Last two years - horrible coach, and BG getting hurt both playoffs.

This year, he has a dynamite team, and an elite coach, so as long as he and BG are both healthy, no excuses.

The 07-08 Hornets were stacked though. Tyson Chandler, Peja, David West, Mo Pete, and Jannero Pargo.

Stacked is a strong word. That's a solid supporting cast, but by no means stacked.

That was a very good team, and CP3 was great in the playoffs. That was just a very good Spurs team. They'd lose against the Lakers as well (and in the East, the Celtics were clearly better).

stacked???:lol :lol :lol
don t forget they played against the spurs.he s 6 foot.he can t dominate the way sf and c's dohis best teammate was David west.all the others were role players.he s a pg.he needs good teammates around him
as for clippers, they had no half court offense.they all chocked except him.this year with the rise of griffin and DJ still they got better chances, but they need griffin to play like he plays now and the shooters to make their shots.no team nowdays can win with a pg be the best player.look at bulls with rose

Because his supporting cast wasn't good enough to beat the teams he was facing. Simple. How are you supposed to beat the Spurs, Lakers, 55 win teams every year with no help?

Barkley took 7 years to get past the 2nd round as the 1st option, and only got past the 2nd round 3 times in his career. Players greater than Paul fared the same way. Team game.

This nikka is obsessed wif me:lol :lol it all good doe the real ball heads know how good CP be. At the end of his career he will be a top 3 PG ever only Magic and Oscar will be ahead and if he wins more rings as the man he will be ahead of Oscar.

At this point he's been so hyped, he can't fail. If he continues to be embarrassed in the playoffs, history will remember that he played for the Hornets and Clippers, two historically pathetic teams. What is sad about all of this is we will never really be able to compare a player like Tony Parker to him. It doesn't matter how many times a Parker-led team knocks him out of the playoffs or gets to the WCF, Finals, or wins championships, the Spurs will always be looked at as a better team and thus disproportionally rule out the possibility that Tony Parker was a better player. We will never know because Parker will probably always play on a contender, but for most Spurs fans in the past years, we understand that without Parker, we aren't contenders.

2008: Beast playoff run but he choked in game 7 of the 2008 Conference Semis. Kept deferring to Pargo when he should have taken the team on his back. Kinda hard to fault him since he was so damn good but the Spurs were a tired, old team that were fatigued from multiple playoff runs in previous years. They were ripe for the picking. Hornets also had homecourt advantage too. Really should have won that game 7.

2009: Had a horrible playoffs, plain and simple. Hornets were never expected to beat the Nuggets but to lose like that? Embarrassing.

2011: Really, really good this year but he had a shit supporting cast. Best player in that series with the Lakers. Can't really fault him here.

2012: Pretty good against the Grizzlies. Awful against the Spurs. Never really had a chance anyway but the Clippers could have made it a five or six game series if Paul played better. The only solace Paul can get from this series is that Parker was equally terrible. Spurs won because Duncan was better than Blake and Ginobili was better than Butler.

2013: Paul was a beast. Yeah, they lost with homecourt advantage but it's less Paul's fault and more of Griffin being awful(due to injuries most likely).
