Srsly this nikka so underrated b/c ppl use him as a joke for rings now. He was so clutch and none of those teams wouldve won rings w/o his shots. He was also great defender and team player

I always thought Horry was more lucky then clutch, but I dunno.

Well that's why I am debating myself. Big shot Bob is clutch, but he is lucky to always be in position to make the shot

The only thing between being good and being lucky is consistency

OK but he also had huge 4th quarters like Pistons in 05 he had 18 4th quarter points when Timmy was choking and brought em back w/ Manu....................

Magic hit just as many dramatic shots and made more in general. Throw in a few assist.

Yeah but Horry does it in the playoffs a lot

Just shows you how great the teammates that he had. Teams were willing to concede the open jumper to double team off him rather than have the main guy go one on one

Duncan scored more points than Horry and Manu in that game 5 and he outrebounded Rasheed and Ben Wallace combined. TD had 26 pts/19 rebs that night while Ginobili had 15 pts. Horry had 21. But yes, let's pretend Duncan choked while Horry and Manu carried them that game. Shit post from Hamtaro, like usual.

Until he became a Laker, as I hated SA everytime Horry got the ball I'd scream "nooooo" at the TV. When he became a Laker during the regular season he missed a lot of clutch shots but was money in the playoffs.

Is there not a player nicknamed "Mr. Clutch?" Or was he just a myth or something?

Jerry "Mr. Clutch" West or Jordan takes the cake.

Sam Jones also deserves a mention, going by his reputation.

But yeah, Horry was a nightmare for opposing teams in the 2000s. If he somehow got the ball in the last possession, your heart stopped beating.

Bibby could just see it coming in that play

He probably didn't have the MOST big shots, but given his opportunities and minutes on the floor, he sure had the highest % of big shots. No disrespect but outside of being able to come through in clutch situations, he's a below average player.

I would call Horry a good NBA player. He definitely was not below average. He could shoot, finish when he was younger, and play defense.
