Too bad his team (dragic) is so ass they couldn't even make it a close game :facepalm

Predicting jeff hornacek wins COY when his team don't even make the playoffs :oldlol:

U should all be ashamed :coleman:

I liked how he elevated in such close quarters. For most anyone else, that'd be a contact layup finish at best.

I didn't see anything special. I guess I just don't appreciate a dunk as much as most. Was an interesting "double clutch from the side" as opposed to straight, though.

You kids are easily impressed.

That dunk would not win last year's nightly Stroshow's dunk of the night.

Super nasty...and he took off on the wrong foot too...Wait, he jumped off his strong leg (left), right? I thought it just looked awkward because he finished with two hands from an unusual angle.

He said himself, he's done with the dunk contest. Done it so many times he's getting tired of it.

“I hate talking about the dunk contest.”

“I’m just so sick of the dunk contest. I’m done with that. That point of my life I’m over with. Last year I tried to do a dunk no one has ever seen before. I wasn’t successful in it. That was the end of that book. I close the book, threw it in the treasure (chest), locked the key, threw it in the ocean and will never see it again.”

“I’ll never be in a dunk contest again. I don’t ever want to be a part of it.”

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ball-dont-lie/gerald-green-done-dunk-contest-ll-always-birthday-031319782--nba.htmlInteresting link there. He almost sounds bitter. I was kind of torn about his dunk contest participation. There's no denying his legendary elevation, but I wasn't as much of a fan of his forced swagger (i.e. taking off his own shoes, signing them, gifting them to dunk legend judges, all before he dunked). And there was something about his dunk style that felt a little funny to me, like maybe he pulled his hands away from the rim too quickly or something.

Also, was not a fan of the increased lean toward gimmicks on his end. The cupcake dunk was cool as a one-off. But once the shoes began coming off, the nets being removed, the random things to jump over being placed... it kind of seemed to limit the excitement of his jams from my end.
