The all time tournament is almost over, and we should start a new one.


My idea, also the idea some of you agreed in the other thread:


16 teams draft consisting in 15 rounds ( 11 starters + 3 subs + 1 coach ) with only World Cup qualified eligible players. Also your team needs to have players of different nationalities. Is it ok with everyone ? Any better ideas ?? Post your opinion in here and after we finish the all time tournament i'll start things :rockon:

yeah, not sure who said it first. pretty good idea my original idea was with the subs and coach. was thinking of a trade period of 2 days after the draft but it would only make things slower.

Now we will make the World Cup Draft/Tournament with the rules in the original post and then i think that idea would be great for the English Premier League draft. should be nice as there are fewer player and i would be more easy for anybody.

Trades are not allowed because it will mess up the draft

1 = first guy to pick, 16 = the last one to pick abbaab with an advantage for the guys that picks last in the coaching selection with can be huge as there are only 32 coaches.

Aditional info

After we have 16 total players i will go to http://www.random.org/lists/ so i can see what picks does everybody get. then we will wait 12h and the draft starts with the first pick with 1h30 time limit for EVERY ROUND; if someone misses 2 consecutive rounds his time limit will drop to 10 minutes and if he misses 3 consecutive rounds he will be kicked from the tournament. this will move quick so if you are going to sleep or be out for more than 5h it's highly recommend you PM me your picks or a close friend from the draft ( b1 with arkain ).

Another idea for future drafts: participant need to pick a league first (not exclusive, i.e. if I pick EPL -yeah right-, you can pick EPL too), and need to stick to players who have played in that league. Timeframe last 20 years (1994-2014)

Everybody would pick PL, because it's deep on talent.

Debatable (especially considering the 20-yrs timeframe), but even in that case, you should take into account that if you pick a more common league, you will have more competition to pick each player.

People tend to lose interest in drafting itself in the last rounds and want to hurry up to the tournament (and then lose interest in voting eventually, but that's another story).
I also have the feeling subs will be irrelevant for judges.

instead of 2 matchups that i will post 4 at a time to make things faster. regarding the idea of subs i was thinking that the subs would make us to have harder decision and show the knowledge we have for countries from africa, south america or asia not only players from england, germany, portugal, spain etc

it can be a x factor, as a versatile defender that can play multiple positions on the bench can decide a mathcup.

yes same question b1imtf asked. you can pick any player eligible for the 32 countries, the guy doesn't have to be capped. the restriction is that you can't have two players that played for the same country:


gerrard and walcott or muller and neuer for example

nah.. guys like xavi and pirlo would go way too high.. the first one might not even start for his country.. i think we judge on this current moment and what they will do at the WC.. also i dont think we should pick players that will miss the WC because of injury ( walcott, strootman, gundogan? )

Take it easy, ik it is possible to do both at the same time, but if we don't establish a rule where the tourny has to be completed before any other draft can start, then we will never finish a damn tournament! Plus, if we do establish that rule, the tournaments themselves will finish much faster as a result of people wanting to draft.
