This one's closer than the Grant Hill one, as peak Penny in 1996 was a top 3 or top 4 player in a league that was in its golden age, but current Lebron would have been number 2 in 1996.

Lebron.

I don't like LeBron but you can't compare him and Penny lol.

Penny had 3 seasons where he averaged over 20 ppg. 2 seasons with averages of 20/7/4. Pretty great all-around numbers. Penny could've been much better had he stayed healthy. The problem is, we don't how much 'better'. Now with LeBron, he's never had a major injury in his career. He's also currently in his prime so we're getting to see how he plays. Penny was never considered the best player in the world or even the 2nd best, unlike Bron. As much as I loved Penny, im gonna have to go with current Queen Jamie.

I'm talking peak play so that means nothing. Was Penny's best season better than Hill's best season?

he was top 3 MVP voting his 3rd year in the league, 2nd in first place votes (Jordan won in a landslide)

how does that mean nothing?

if you're talking peak play then at their peaks Penny was a b2b 1st team all NBA player (if you even want to consider a players 2nd & 3rd year their "peaks") and Hill was not

Jordan always had 1st team on lock so in 96 when Penny made 1st team he made it over Gary Payton who was the DPOY & John Stockton, Pippen was selected over Hill..

Rose was a top 5 player that season. You have Dirk over him? Dwight/Durant and maybe LeBron are arguable but Rose was top 5.

Are you retarded? Also add Melo and yes, Dirk was a better player. How is that a question?

Wade was UNARGUABLY better.

Dude admitted it in the BTE the other day. I think Steve deleted the posts because I couldn't find them, but you can pretty much ask anyone there if he said it and they'll tell you yes.

moe, for some ****ing reason, is absolutely embarrassed to talk about his personal life. I'll call him out for being a stoner and he gets weird about it, like he's ashamed. I told him to quit smoking because it's bad for his immune system. Too stubborn to stop.

For me? I'm hoping it helps YOU out.

If the word spread, people will start treating you better. Let's be honest... you get shit on pretty consistently around here...

You're an easy target. If people know the truth, they'll be less inclined to call you out. What type of sick **** would make fun of someone for having aids? Maybe there will be a few, but then their credibility is shot and they end up getting backlash from the majority.

Grant Hill > Penny and quite easily.

Grant Hill's 7 healthy seasons > Penny Hardaway's brief 2 year prime, yes.

But at their peaks, Penny, the year Orlando went to the Finals and the year after that, was better than Grant Hill ever was. It is close though, because Hill was very good too...but Penny was a little better.

It is strange that Penny wasn't more well known during his peak. I guess people just were in awe of Shaq and he got all the attention.
