Am I the only one who doesn't get the 3D fad? Like for TVs, movies, and video games. Heck, I own a 3ds, really tried using it for hours on different games, and found myself with a headache turning off the 3d.

I don't know... they can do pretty insane stuff with the HD/3D stuff nowadays. I saw a U2 3D thing at the Rock&Roll HOF a couple years ago and it honestly felt like I was on stage... and I don't even really like U2.

It has come a long, long way since the flimsy blue/red glasses.

Im sure it looks cool from all direction, the similar tech i've seen at disney was spectacular from any direction and at any distance. Here is it in action at disney. Its realy next level stuff because you dont need to wear any 3d glasses to enjoy it

Cool. But, the Cavs one was far superior. The Kentucky version was mostly graphics and still pictures, whereas this one incorporates a bunch of highlights as well. I will also point out that the Cavs one was done on the actual hardwood floor, whereas this Kentucky version, albeit first, was projected onto a movie screen-esque canvas.

Obviously, the technology has made a pretty large leap in the last couple years.
