I hope not. He's literally achieved nothing throughout his career.

what do you want me to say? Of course I'm biased. my opinion hinges on my optimism.

As for his age, his game is the type of game that can endure - not predicated on athleticism. see nowitzki, dirk.

10 years in the league. Almost 30 years old. I think we've seen his best.

This....a best way to judge a player is the first 3-4 years in the league...at least with that time he's accustomed to the league already....but melo hasn't showed us anything other then empty stats :confusedshrug:

- National Title @ Syracuse
- 2x Olympic Gold Medalist (and scoring record)
- 7x all-star
- All-NBA 2nd and 3rd team multiple times.
- Scoring Champion

You were saying? :lol

Melo's done a lot, if we're going based on the criteria that rings are the only indicator of success, then only LeBron/Kobe/Dirk have achieved success in the last 5 years.

Would've been Wade instead of Dirk if Lebron wasn't a bitch.

I agree.
Let him take maybe 6 less shots at game, with smarter shot selection.
let him play with 2 other guys he can dish to.

Maybe see him at 24 ppg, 6.5 rebs, 5.5 asts on 49% shooting. Why not?

Sounds like a good stat line to me.

me too unfortunately. either the triangle offense is going to make him incredibly efficient or it will break him.
