I've certainly been to parties crazier than that, but I was talking specifically about high school proms, and my high school was predominantly white. One big selling point was the arrivals. The arrivals in the videos were more fun than people showing up in limos and trying to look nice that I remember.

I have not met anybody who has been to Romania, (especially to the big cities) and did not love it.

If it was immigration that would be another story but what's happening to Bulgaria is not because of that. Native Bulgarians have very low birth rates(one of the lowest in the world) and are leaving the country in masses for other EU countries. That's a recipe for disaster in terms of population for the native Bulgarians.

The gypsies have been in Bulgaria for centuries now and have extremely high birth rates, they also can't leave for other EU countries like native Bulgarians because EU doesn't want them. The Turks aren't immigrants either and have relatively high birth rates(not as crazy as the bulgarians).

You can only blame your own people..

Scientists Raise Alarm over Apocalyptic Scenario for Bulgarian Ethnicity

The Center for Demographic Policy in Sofia has alarmed that by 2050, ethnic Bulgarians would have become a minority in their own country. Trendafil Mitev, a political science professor at the University for National and World Economy in Sofia is cited as saying that the Bulgarian politicians appear to be helpless before the demographic crisis. According to the dean of the Geography Department at Sofia University Petar Slaveykov, the demographic situation will lead to huge issues in the educational system and the science and creative potential of the country. The Center uniting scientists, university professors and public figures is working on a strategy to avoid what has been described as a possible demographic catastrophe. "Gypsy" in the Balkans and I suppose Eastern Europe refer to Romani people (the more politically correct term) who are believed to have ancestry from India. It's not necessarily a cult but more of an ethnic group that mainly live nomadic lives and do not to partake in society (ie they don't vote, don't hold official jobs, don't go to school, don't go to hospitals, etc.) They tend to survive on begging, stealing, scamming, etc. They usually are discriminated.
