that was probably their grand plan... trying to steal bitcoins from their customers while claiming those coins were lost or stolen by other people. the investigations probably opened up some lids, so they're finally coming out to cover their own asses. those coins were never lost nor stolen. they knew exactly where they were. now can they be honest with where they hid the other 550,000? :lol

They declared bankruptcy, so these are probably going to pay off some of what they owe.
You do wonder if they really could have misplaced 1/4 of total assets for 3 years without noticing. It does make you wonder if it was trial run, by an insider to steal them.
