How much better would that team be?

Same record, more free throws, less flopping.

With Lebron at PF for they swap places?
Because I'm not sure they are better if the swap places or not immediately anyway.
The thought of Lebron on the current OKC roster is also very intriguing.

:facepalm Pitiful troll attempt? Or just zero basketball IQ?
If Durant and LeBron swapped, who would run Miami's offense? Who would pick apart defenses with his passing to compensate for the Heat's dismal point guard play? Who would switch comfortably onto bigs and/or point guards to compensate for the defensive shortcomings of the teammates? Who would block Duncan and Splitter multiple times at the rim in the finals?
You idiots see KD shooting threes and free throws, scoring more points, and you think he's a better player. Bernard King scored a lot of points too. So did George Gervin. But just like Durant, they never won anything, and so they became footnotes in the history of the game.

Miami would have better offense but a lot worse on D. In offense, Wade, Cole, or Chalmers to some extend could run a decent play. Bosh and Oden would post. On the other hand, their D would be worse because even though Lebron's man to man D is lackluster this season, he covers a lot of ground and he's the catalyst of their trap D which compensates their lack of size. IMO
Assuming Durant replaces Lebron on the Heat.

Wade & KD would be a great duo. KD is fine with playing off ball & coming off screens like a spot up shooter & he's also a really good passer, gives the Heat length on D, I think KD could legit be a Center on that team.
Chalmers
Wade
Battier
Bosh
KD
that's a hell of a line-up right there.

This is not 2k14. Adding a better scorer does not automatically make your offense better.
LeBron is Kasparov on the basketball court. He holds Miami's offense in the palm of his hand; he decides who gets their shots and when they get them. He completely runs the team and manages to score 25 points in the flow of the game.
Durant is a one-dimensional player. He was born to shoot and to put the ball in the hole. He is trying to be a more complete player (since he worships LeBron, and is truthfully a bigger stan than anyone on this site) but he can never be the King.

Durant is a better shooter and scorer than LeBron, that we can all agree on. But in terms of controlling the offense, finding players, being good defensively, LeBron is better at all that.

Yeah, Durant is a one-dimensional player, if you're ignoring his rebounds, assists and defensive impact this year. :oldlol:

Well Miami easily wins the 11 Finals, nobody on Dallas could check KD like they did LBJ.
In 12 they face the Spurs and sweep them, KD with elite teammates is too much for the old SA crew
In 13 they face the Spurs again and likely sweep them again. KD murders Leonard.
So they're looking to get a 4peat this year, and I dont see anyone in the West who can beat KD's Heat
They win in 2011 and that's it. Lebron did far too much in 12 and 13 to replace him and claim they win the rings.
