No way Randle goes after Embiid. Randle is NBA ready, solid post moves, soft hands, sweet mid range jumper, elite athleticism and has crazy high potential

Embiid is too much of a "can't miss prospect".

And when you look at Utah, they already have a potential franchise PF in Favors.

I love Doug (I originally had him going to the Orlando Magic), but the thing that hurts him is that he doesn't have a defined position in the NBA, much like Austin Rivers.

Doug's skill set has probably reached his peak as well, with him being a senior and his lack of athleticism. He will be a valuable prospect for a team with a middle to late draft pick.

From what I've seen, his ceiling is a Kyle Korver/Chandler Parsons hybrid. McDermott's NBA Career will either be a glue guy for a really good team, or a role player battling for minutes.

High Risk, Medium Reward.

There is a good chance Isaiah Thomas leaves for Free Agency. He's probably the best PG coming into the offseason and will get paid a nice penny. Even if IT stays, SAC does need a shooting guard, Marcus Smart can fit that role as well. The only other prospect I can see the Kings drafting is Julius Randle.

Aaron Gordon may not be a franchise potential name, but put him with Ty Lawson and Nate Robinson, he will be valuable asset with Denver getting to the playoffs next year.

Tyler Ennis maybe the better player between him and LaVine, but MIN doesn't need another pass first PG. LaVine is a remix of Kevin Love's former teammate Russell Westbrook and is an alum of UCLA, just like Love. That gives an immediate connection between the two in getting Kevin Love to stay in MIN.

They need to take the best player available. Favors hasn't looked like a franchise player. Isn't Embiid a center?

The best player available is Embiid at #4. Last I checked, Favors is 15/10/1/1/2 per 36 at age 22 in his first year as an all-around starter.

Give that frontcourt of Utah time to develop. They already have the backcourt of the future with Burke/Burks/Hayward.

Just curious, why do you have the suns taking a pg? I would be very surprised if they did that. The suns need to pick up a big.
Hornacek's offense is PG oriented and Goran is nearing his 30s.

If WCS makes a push in the coming game vs. Louisville, I can see him coming up in the board.

SAC already has a good frontcourt. The backcourt, mainly the lack of depth at the guard spot, really hurts the Kings.

Smart gives IT the ability to play off ball and be able to defend the other team's guard on the perimeter.

Boston really needs a Center.

OT: I do have the strangest feeling Boston would trade Rondo and a 2nd for Parsons, Lin, Asik, our 2015 1st pick and a future pick.

Well let me put it this way, Boston needs a rim protector, they may have a bunch of frontcourt but they all don't have the ability to control the paint.

Harris can be a nice scorer for BOS, but what happens to Bradley?

Bucks aren't taking Jabari with the 1st pick. It's Embiid for sure, unless he thoroughly disappoints at the combine and/or is clearly hurt. In which case we'd take Wiggins.

RightToCensor

Bucks biggest need is scoring, unless you still believe OJ Mayo can average 20+ per game.

I do expect MIL to resign Udoh, he hasn't reached his potenial but is still one of the league's top shot blockers.

If MIL had the #1 pick I wouldn't be surprised to hear rumors that they'd like to trade down. As long as they get a Top 7 pick they'll have a good draft.

That's too much risk for the reward. Embiid has a history of injury problems. In today's NBA, scouts are cautious of that seeing we just had a former #1 pick admit he was a bust due to injuries and the former #2 Center in the league get cut from IND before playing a game due to injury.

Then Sanders is a question mark as well. His poor attitude and injury really hurt him last season after becoming famous for being the best paint defender in the NBA the season before. MIL in general needs some locker room help from a Vet Coach or Player.

I just really hope James Young falls to us. He's what we need. I doubt it because he's been Kentucky's most conistent player this past season. But you never know.
Adreian Payne is someone I'd like HOU to draft. He's a legit strech-4 with great athletism and size.

If we don't get Payne, I'd like us to use our 2nd Rounder on Isaiah Austin. Stetch-4, long arms, and a good passer. He would develop nice working with Houston's bigs and workingOUT with Dwight.

Embiid would be the consensus #1 pick if he worked out and looked healthy.

Parker's agility is something to question seeing he was a lackluster defender in college.

I still have my Top 4 as Parker, Wiggins, Exum, and Embiid in that order.

Embiid can also take a significant drop if his work outs give concern about his back. The risk is bigger than the reward.

Parker is doing what top NFL prospects do. To be honest, I don't he can workout well enough to be rise much or poor enough to slide. Probably going to sit his fat, lazy ass at a Krispy Kremes stuffing his face with chocolate donuts.

They still have the chance to work out for individual teams. That's where they are going to really convince teams that they're a better choice than Exum, Randle, etc. anyway. I think the combine is more beneficial to "that guy" who is projected to go in the 20's and shoots up into the lottery because of their combine workout than it is to Parker and Embiid.

Skipping the combine isn't usually a big deal for guys that are consensus top 10 picks...sadly, it's almost become the norm in the last few years. I wish the 5 on 5 scrimmages were mandatory at the combine.

Still, every year we end up seeing a workout warrior get drafted way higher than he should based on testing out well. Joe Alexander, anyone? :oldlol:

All three are locks for the top 3 spots, why would they do it? Wiggins has nowhere to go but down, Parker doesn't want to engage in drills that judge only his athleticism, and Embiid can't take any more risks with that gimpy back before he gets paid.
