Not wondering if he should, but do you think he will?
If he did, then floppers have won.
Hmm...Kobe kept making them long after his defensive drop. Ill say yes. But he doesnt deserve it. Paul George should take the spot.

True. Though I think Kobe deserved 1st team all defense in 00, 01, 08, and don't have a problem with him getting the nod in 02, 03, 04, 09.

Nah. I'm not even hating, but I can name like 4 F's that are way more deserving right off the bat.

4 out of those 5 will be a part of both the 1st and 2nd teams, imo.

I hope not, but there is precedent (Kobe) for giving superstars a 1st team selection they don't deserve.
Personally I would pick Davis and George for the 1st team, and Leonard and Ibaka for 2nd.

Don't think Bron deserves first team this year. I don't even think he deserves second team, but he will probably get it.

nah man you must have not seen him play hes been a beast defensively the past few years and is only gettin better.
he should have got it last year anyways so i wont be mad when he gets it this year after playing great to really great defense all year long

LeBron was definitely not the best defender in the league the past two years...and he's not even the most important defender on his team a lot of the time.

If you like, but there's usually an obvious (and quite respectable) criteria for the MVP award.
I have no idea what voters look for in the DPOY. And there's no way the data/stats, or even the eye test suggests that LeBron is the best defender in the league.

Yes he will, despite being ass on defense all year. Just how it goes with superstars once they make the team. Kobe hasn't belonged on an all defense team since the 3-peat era.
At least Bean never whined about not winning DPOY when he didn't deserve it though.

Yes he will. It really has no comparison to Kobe as Kobe was making it when he had no business at all even being mentioned. Lebron James is still the best defensive player on a good defensive team. (great when they want to be)

Exactly. LeBron's never been a real game changer on defense.
They really should just reward the defensive specialists (Butler, Leonard, Allen, Iggy, et al) or guys like Garnett, Duncan, Hakeem (obviously when they were in their prime) when they could control the game from both sides of the floor.
