Derrick Rose 2011 ECF
Game 1: 10-22 (45%) 28 points 6 assists
Game 2: 7-23 (30%) 21 points 8 assists
Game 3: 8-19 (42%) 20 points 5 assists
Game 4: 8-27 (29%) 23 points 7 assists
Game 5: 9-29 (31%) 25 points 8 assists

I don't know what happened to him after game 1. And that was Chicago's only win in that series.

His numbers every game were great but FG% was... ughh

They couldnt shut down Russel because they had Durant to worry about. The same with Rondo, they had Paul Pierce who is an iso threat and Ray Allen running off screens and Garnet to worry about, plus Bosh who is a great trapper was missing. They shut down Tony Parker, I dont know why you put him on the list.

Lebron moved lightening quick that series but was frozen in ice the next. They haven't been consistent in the playoffs at all. Lebron is the only one that plays good back to back series but his outside shot isn't consistent from one series to the next too. This year his shot has been MIA more than other years. But I think he's good enough to find a way.

Didn't Westbrick have something around 48% TS? Rondo sucked ass in '11.

Rose dominated LeBron 1x1 a year earlier, which shows that his poor performance is a result of Miami's collective defense

Didn't LeBron curb stomp that Bulls team? IIRC, he averaged 32/9/8/2/1 on 67% TS. Won the series 4-1 as well. I fail to see how Rose "dominated" LeBron in that series. :facepalm

What does that have to do with a not so big amount of possessions where Rose went on LeBron 1x1?

Yep. LeBron didn't really guard Rose in that series. Doesn't mean that Rose "dominated" LeBron, when he scored on him a couple of times.

Well Lebron didn't really guard Rose in 11 either, it was more the end of the 4th quarter.
Even in limited possessions in 10 he made a fool out of Lebron, and it wasn't couple of times, more like 10+

Now you're just making shit up. Stop being such a hater. It was West and Mo who were actually guarding Rose in '10. LeBron took it upon himself to guard Rose in '11, when it mattered and the sample size isn't small either. LeBron can't guard Rose for the whole game, because it creates mismatches. A Miami PG would be on a Bulls SF.

After going 0-for-5 from the floor with a turnover when guarded by LeBron James in Game 4, Derrick Rose struggled against him once again Thursday, going 1-for-10 with two turnovers in Game 5. Rose shot 6.3 percent from the floor in the series when defended by James, lowest among any player that defended him on five or more plays.

Oh, and Rose took 25 shots and 4 FT's to score 27 points in '10. He has a TS of 50%. Looks like LeBron "DESTROYED" Rose in '10 as well.

Lebron played great defense on Rose but came out of it comatose. If LeBron shut Rose down then Terry annihilated Lebron. If you claim one you have to claim the other.

Sure I guess. But why didn't Bran ever cover Dirk in the finals? He should be able to. He did the same shit in the next finals, covered and shut down Perkins  he let's his minions do all the dirty work but he demands all the credit and glory.

That was Lebron's best series that season. He was hitting some of the craziest shots too. Weird how his jumper disappears from series to series. Even last year, he was killing the Pacers with his jumper and then couldn't hit anything for a majority of the Finals.

? Wasn't that 23 year old the MVP? And wasn't that rookie head coach going against a team that had zero chemistry and zero talent outside of the 3 guys that had zero chemistry?

Keith Bogans was the starting 2 guard. Chicago played 4 on 5 when we were on offense.

Yes he's part of the five.

If you are crazy enough to suggest that having the best offensive two guard and the best offensive power forward at the time wasn't enough then what is?

Parker was very mediocre in the Finals last year...
He had a 6 point game, 10 points on 3/12 shooting, 13 points on 5/14 shooting and and 6/23 shooting game. Thats 4 terrible games

Really so winning the MVP and short circuiting Lebron's brain is something every player can do? Lebron was a mummy after he put that work in.

Lebron declined physically since 2011.

In that series he shut Rose down in critical possessions in the 4th, as quick as rose was, he could keep up with his speed.

2011 Rose would easily blow by 2014 Lebron.

I don
